So Their odds of playing better on Tuesday are high. going to need some adjustments and a much better effort. We do play different for Vladar.. even with a 5 min penalty kill we outshot them 13-7 and outscored them 1-0.. played the way need to play . We play bad in game 2 no doubt, since I can remember. It happens to us. Game 3 is a coin flip. We can win 2 or 3 in a row or 3 out of the next 4. Doesn't really matter which. Just need to do. He is a huge reason why the team is where it is so far... But he is not where he needs to be in his head right now... and that is not typical for him... Tough call for Sutter, but if were up to me, I would start Vladar, and see how it goes for the game... I would have pulled Markstrom well before he finally did... I'm an old goalie, and I get it no one likes getting pulled, but I think Markstrom needs a bit of a jolt a jolt to reset, and just a regular a day off between games is not going to do it... Marky gave us a period where we were outplayed at every turn. Maybe Vladar stops one or two of the odd man rushes. But maybe he leaks in a couple. I do tthink we need to do something different with the D. No speed on the 2nd pair with Stone and Zaddy. Even if Tanev can go, we need insurance.
