Hardly a clash of the titans but the Flames are closer to a WC spot than a lotto spot (currently 16OA pick) may as well stumble into the post season since its going to be a mid to late teens pick anyway. If the team would have had lucky rather than unlucky bounces in those places, they would be looking more like a titan than a tit. It can still pay off. Somehow, we managed to be bad enough to get Monahan, Bennett and Tkachuk. I can see how we would not be as bad as we were during the year leading up to the 2013 and 2015 draft years. A lot of mixed results between that and Tkachuk year. The coach and players put us in this boat. You can't just decide, oh I think I want to start winning. You had your chance. LOL. He dint have to be out of the net so long. Bad time to move when Backstrom is trying to go through his legs with that pass. That's 3 of 4 for 2 points. Do that 4 more times...
