I think the Flames would like to add a forward tonight. Ideally, a C.

Boisvert, Hage, Luchanko, Beaudoin, O'Reilly.

I think Helenius goes in the next few picks.

Love to get Hage...

Rd and not in US College likely played a factor lol

100%... if it's true Andersson will be moved either this year or the next, then that RHS RD is critical to long term plans.  Good RD simply hard to find in trades and UFA.

Parekh led his team in goals and points from the backend. Won a Memorial Cup. Won a Gold at the Hlinka-Gretzky Cup. Won Defenseman of the Year in the OHL and CHL.

He looks like he can also play LD, so all good.

Absolutely.. tho we'd best be getting some more boring shutdown guys...  Our 3 best D prospects now are exciting offensive guys whos only weakness is defending

But as Al Arbour always said ... defense we can  teach

Can't really comment on the optics, I'm just listening on the radio via internet. I just don't think these sideshows are needed at a draft. I don't mind a couple of players or ex players making a pick, but this is too much for my taste.

cross gave a vote of confidence with Parekh.  Good gap controls and good stick... just doesn't use the body but not every player needs to be heavy hitting.
