This is pretty much the end I dreaded but knew was the likely outcome, Flames go on a useless push only to fall short a few points. And here we are…right back to purgatory, another middling season, already putting the weight on kids like Wolf, Coronato, Pelletier because they’re all we have moving forward. This team has a lot of issues that need to be addressed this off season. What team puts up so many useless shots only to lose games to the point it becomes their identity? That was essentially our blueprint. Tough year to watch, seemed the negatives outweighed the good stuff this year. It’s been another pleasure watching this unfortunate season with you Flames fans! On to the off-season !

I already accepted we would draft 15 two weeks ago.

All that's left is to cheer on the team facing the Oilers in round 1.

I'm sorry

they're going to win the cup this year

they got their defensive d to put them over. Now they're going to win.

i don't want them to, but at the deadline I was like, great, that's probably THE piece. Their Ville Nieminen.

we had D at the time, but no Satoshi Nakamoto Disturber. They needed D...

Yeah. Unfortunately I think Edmonton is gonna go on a run.

Vegas and LA doesn’t have the goaltending to keep them from coming out of the pacific. Colorado can beat them. Depends on the health of Makar and if they get their captain back

It's funny that we had enough points to actually make the playoffs if WPG hadn't managed to win the final 2.

They sucked too long to really be a playoff team.

And you can chalk up the 2 losses (CHI and VAN) to be the difference between playoffs and no playoffs.

It's possible that the Oilers face WPG in round 1.

That's a tough team to beat in the playoffs.

They blew it once.

LA is a tougher team when they are rolling.

Thanks for nothing Markstrom.

Lost the key games when they meant getting in.

Thanks coach for ruining the team.

Thanks Kadri for turning into a shooter and Huberdeau forgetting how to pass.

Thanks Ruzicka for sitting out enough games to have us miss the playoffs.

Thanks former cup winners for providing zero knowledge on how to win.

LA matches up really well with them last year, without Doughty or Arvidsson too.

Quick was fantastic for them last year too though

Edmonton is rolling.  Really depends on how Skinners first playoff goes

I can't see this Sharks team beating the Oilers tomorrow.  Sharks are hopeless.  That means if VGK loses to SEA clean, then the Oilers win the division.  It will be a waste of 8 days for WPG.

Too bad Markstrom is likely untradable this off season.  Wolf looks ready.

This makes me absolutely disgusted to say but you’re probably right 🤢! The coaching for the Oilers has made a complete difference, they no longer bleed goals. They seem to score at will, their PP is near guaranteed to score and they somehow have solid goaltending.  Three 100 pts scorers, career years for most players across the board, they look the part…finally! However playoffs is a different beast. I’m hoping for a classic Oilers 1st Rd exit but they could legit win it this year 🤮

We have more points than FLA.  Does FLA pick 16 and Flames 17?

I think teams in the playoffs draft in the top 16. Given we have the most points out of missed teams, we have the worst odds of winning lotto,
