  1. Kylington had to agree to go to the AHL on the conditioning stint. I believe it is 3 team games.
  2. According to the CBA players can go on LTIR Conditioning Loan for 6 days or 3 games. Teams can ask for an extension of two games. Kylington was put on conditioning loan on the 4th, and this will be the Wranglers 3rd game since the loan. I am guessing that they will ask for an extension seeing as he hasn’t played in a year and a half. After that though they will have to either add him to the active roster or put him on waivers to send him down.
  3. If you can get d-man with Hedman upside, I would wait till 2026 to get him over.
  4. Yeah I have seen him ranked from 4 to 19. The size, skating and skill package is going to be pretty tantalizing for teams in the top end of the draft. Though there is going to be a lot of defensemen at the top end of the draft that bring size and skill to the table. Anton Silayev is 6’7” and is a great skater, he has been climbing the draft boards. It’s just hard to get a good read on the Russians, because nobody can go watch them.
  5. Konsta Helenius is another guy I think would be great in the Flames range. He did not have a great WJC, which is an area of concern, but the Finns as a team had a horrible WJC. Helenius has high hockey IQ, good skill and is a good skater, not afraid to fight for the puck. Reminds me a bit of Lindholm.
  6. Cayden Lindstrom is the player I have my eye on for the range where we will be picking. Size, skating ability, skill, physical, oh and he plays center.
  7. Oh yeah, wasn't trying to start any rumours, just the timing is interesting and the fact we haven't had any info in regards to Kylington being away from the team for the last year and a half.
  8. Wonder if there was friction between Zadorov and Kylington.
  9. It’s the mins per game Chiarot averaging over 21 mins Zadorov averaging 17 mins that’s the difference between a guy playing top pairing and bottom pairing. They weren’t going to get anywhere near the same return. Maybe he could’ve gotten a 2nd if he would have retained cap.
  10. Ben Chiarot was playing over 23 mins a night when he was traded. The Flames were never ever going to get anything close to this in value.
  11. I don’t think it would have made a difference, now or at the TDL.
  12. We paid a 3rd for him and most felt that we overpaid for him.
  13. Thats the worth of a 3rd pairing defenseman.
  14. Not sure I get the logic behind benching Zary and Pospisil in the 3rd. Especially for Dube and Greer.
  15. Someone has to go when Pelletier is ready to come back, and Coronato is going to force his way back into the lineup sooner or later. Right now I would rather keep Greer than Duehr.
  16. Hopefully this means Pelletier is close to returning. Could really use his speed and energy in the lineup. Also have to wonder how much longer Duehr stays on the roster.
  17. See I think Gilbert is better than DeSimone. I find DeSimone is too prone to turnovers for a 6/7. Gilbert doesn’t do anything too fancy but he plays his role.
  18. If he was on the roster any longer he would have needed waivers to go down. Also they are at home for the next 6 games, so they don’t really need to carry an extra defenseman.
  19. It's a moot point, but when Pospisil plays tonight he will require waivers to go back to the AHL, not that he is going back to the AHL.
  20. First of all wingers and goalies don't belong on this list IMO, if you are paying top dollar for these positions you are doing it wrong. Since 2020: Panarin 1.26 pts/gm (272 points) Pastrnak: 1.21 pts/gm (267 points) Marner: 1.26 pts/gm (283 points) Huberdeau: 1.04 pts/game (243 points) Tavares: .97 pts/gm (225 points) Kopitar: .88 pts/gm (208 points) Eichel: .91 pts/gm (129 points) So I would say Price, Bobrovsky, Tavares, Kopitar and Eichel belong on this list less than Huberdeau does.
  21. It was a missed penalty call, which isn’t something that they can challenge, it was a bad challenge and it put them on the PK when they are already down by 2.
  22. I was just more getting at that regardless of why he is sitting, it isn't the end of the world nor the worst thing to watch a game from the pressbox and just slow things down and refocus.
  23. I also don’t have a problem with a young player sitting for a game and watching from the press box. Sometimes it helps with getting them refocused.
  24. I agree, Lindholm was going to be the piece that brought us the biggest return now I am not so sure. I think teams are starting to figure out that he isn’t a play driving center, he is a good center who can play with skilled players, but is best suited to play with wingers who can drive offense.
  25. At the end of the day we should be trying to pump up his stats, to raise his trade value. I would run him only in offensive situations for now.
