Not making much sense…the extension unless it’s a sign and trade which effects the return, otherwise it’s a rental trade and Hanifin and LVK work it out… My guess is blockbuster 3 team move with LVK, NJD and Cgy with Markstrom going to NJD, Hanifin to LVK and Cgy?? Something is not adding up It never went to the NHL. My guess is that Calgary and Vegas have agreed to a deal in principle. Vegas is now trying to get a 3rd party broker to take on cap, because Vegas still wants to add another winger and wants to make sure they have room to do it. I doubt that the Russian D is the piece that gets them enough cap space or contract numbers to finalize it. Would need someone like Hague to make the cap better for them, if they want to make more deals. That player alone shouldn't be the main piece either.
