Probably wouldn’t have made it to 41. If you look at the way this draft has played out, there is no consensus in this draft.

I’m thinking O’Riley would have been a better choice

Exactly, Chicago traded up for Vanacker who if you are going off projections would’ve lasted by #34.  It’s a crapshoot now and everyone’s list is going to be different.

The board is out the window.  Teams are picking the guys they like.

Yep..

Liked the one announcers comment..." He's a lurker .. you don't notice him all game and then look at the scoresheet and see he had 3 points "

Still has college to go.. could develop well

Think one said he is going to need to go back to USHL for another season first.

I don't see it.

O’Reilly was a mid 2nd round pick on most boards till recently.

I wouldn’t have minded him. Grindin led his league in scoring, ahead of guys that were picked ahead of him.

It shows him going to the University of Michigan next year on eliteprospects.

Just repeating what the talking heads said.  Then again they might have been talking about someone else, or perhaps out of their butt.

Looks like there are going to be some very interesting players for the second round, where we have a couple more picks.  Miettinen, Ritchie, O'Reilly, Basha, Mustard, Elick, Mews, Stiga, Fischer, Brunicke, HutsonWallenius, Chernysov, Artamonov, Poirier....

Nothing wrong with that . We all know these guys are 4-5 years away

If he's in the same trajectory as Coronato, he would be one year at university.

Darn, the Oilers just can't get away from the 1st round picking.

They have to have one.

I think that may bite the oilers later
