I don't mind Stone but he's a step down from Tanev. That, plus Zadorov is borderline suspended for the next game I think. The 2nd goal was weak, with 3 Flames players on the ice. After the Tanev injury (due to a plyer landing on the back of his leg), we were down a top player. As to Tkachuk, he hasn't been good this series. Walked by Heiskenen, to which he falls down. That's all fine. We just need one game where we play start to finish. Getting down a goal not acceptable. Tanev has looked better, but not a lot to choose from. No other RD than Stone. Too big a game to go 6D if one of them isn't Tanev. Ritchie is not necessarily going to help. Only two shots before the 2nd goal and that included a PP. 1 shot before Stone's goal, 3 shots before the Backlund goal. 8 after the Backlund goal. You are right, we dropped off after the tying goal. Part of that was we didn't win any faceoff for stretches of time. Allows far too much momentum. Only Lindholm was able to take a lot of draws and come close to 50%. 44 to be excact. 12 or 27.
