It seems like Lucic has been off for the last 4-5 games. He's been a bit of a turnover machine. My fave 4th lines this year have been Lucic-Lewis centered by either Rozie or Dube. Kylington just needs more experience with the ramped up intensity that's happening now. He's good on the rush but I also feel like he's trying to play a little faster than he needs to and by forcing is turning it over a little too often. So either he needs to see the game a little faster or needs to take that extra second to slow down the decision-making.

The Sharks really jammed up the middle of the ice in the 3rd. Well played on their part. We need to adjust for that style. We will. Reimer made 10 bell saves to close it out, but we were terrorizing them. Not concerned. Their 4th goal was a horrible bounce, it happens.

I'm certain that you've never seen me excited about our prospects. It's always been a black hole. Once we drafted Dube, Andersson, Kylington, I started hoping that we're finally getting guys we should. Guys like Baertschi, Poirier, Gawdin etc I was pretty whatever about. Even Mangiapane didn't excite me. I was pretty apathetic about the whole thing. If Van took Tkachuk I wonder....if we took Juolevi over Chychrun/Keller I'd have been done. I didn't realize McAvoy's awesomeness at the time. It's always been a giant mess. So it's not really what to think, so much as we've drafted a lot better, brought in goalie depth that we sadly lacked and overall have simply drafted much better. So I'm excited about what I see now whether or not they have a great record. Compared to only a few short years ago when all I saw was junk. So the, "well it's just the farm" is due to apathy. It was lousy.

I can see why Gaudreau is there. Sting goalie. Pronounced Go-drow. lol He's feisty as hell. I know the Knights despise him. He's a great goalie on a really bad team. Yet he keeps owning the Knights and SSM lately. I think Kuznetsov will be a good dman. Seems pretty cerebral and responsible. Good size, good skater. No reason he wouldn't be on Russia's WJC team if Russia wasn't, well...Russia.

Love the g/a balance in his stats. 51 games; 25/28/53pts. I know the team is good, but those stats as a rookie tell me that he's already putting the A behind him. He continues to eclipse every league he plays in, as he's always done. Sometimes you see way more assists and wonder if it's padded by secondary assists. Not the case here, at all.

I'm kinda guessing Carpenter plays watch and learn for a couple of games. If he's more than Richardson, bonus. If not, he's a 13th fwd. No harm, no foul. I'm done trying to draw up lines.lol We have so many options and looks now my opinion is pointless.lol I'm just happy Sutter is more than willing to use so many different looks. We are going to be painful to match when we can constantly move players around. Shutdown JG-Lindy-Chucky for half a game? Change the lines. Mangia-Lindy-Dube JG-Mony-Coleman Jarnkrok-Backs-Tkachuk Now what? Teams will be chasing our matchups around. Widespread confusion. Have we ever had depth like this?

Toffoli's a pretty big fish. Then when you add in fit, contract and results Toffoli's looking like a very big fish. Add in Jarnkrok's fit, results pending, BT did some extremely tidy work. Also, as cross mentioned, BT saying he didn't want to add depth that wasn't better than what we have is on point. There are big names, but you add by fit, not name brand. My case in point is likely to be Rakell. If he isn't scoring, he's not good in other areas. I've always viewed him as lazy. You really just have to look at the NHL and AHL standings to see that we are in a very good place that we haven't been in a loooong time, if ever. Add in our jr prospect watch looks very healthy with Kerins, Poirier, Coronato, Beck, Kuznetzov, Nikolayev, Stromgren, Frances, the goalies...we're looking pretty darn healthy in the system.

Do you know where he is slotted? With Rozie back and Gawdin still around, wonder if that's from 3C.

I've made no bones about he's my fave prospect. Smart player that you can trust in all situations. Exceptional skater, 200' playmaker with finish. I was thrilled when LeBrun on Overdrive today said he was the sticking point to a Chiarot deal. I loved hearing that. I'm a big fan.

I think my preference is option B. BUT, Jarnkrok had solid FO stats his 1st 2yrs in the league. But then it would appear that the Preds moved him to wing by the stats. Then Seattle had him mainly at center? My best guess by stat watching. I like the idea of that 3rd line being the shut 'er in line though. We sure have a lot of good pkers, wow. 6 fwds, that's a lot of options.

Ruzicka back, Mackey back down with Kyl back. I don't think any of that was ever a concern. Rosie will be back as the 3C. He's definitely our 3C. Strong on the puck, strong on the boards. I'm proud of him. It took a lot of work to get this far. He's only getting better with more action I'd bet.
