I like this trade and it made the most sense logistically of the rumored available players. Fits a need and I think he slots into Ritchies spot on the Monahan line. We were already built for the playoffs imo but when teams start to dial in defensively, having a scoring threat on every line in the top 9 will be a wonderful tool. Kudos to BT on this one.

Another solid outing for the boys and another bagel for Marky. I think this is the consistency most of us were pining for under our previous head coaches and it truly shows just how talented this group is. Tough test against the Leafs tomorrow and I hope Lindy and Backlund are on it defensively again as Marner is on a tear of late.

It'd be great to see thats for sure. Last Flame with 40 was Iginla's 43 in 2010-2011.

Missed this one but caught the highlights. Another goose-egg for Marky. If he starts to string together another nice stretch of play I think he works his way back into the Vezina conversation. And yes I absolutely think Gaudreau should get hefty Hart consideration. Hes been nothing short of a stud for us this season.

Another total team effort in this one. Such an encouraging sight seeing guys lay out in front of pucks to protect Markys SO in the dying minutes. Team is definitely playing for each other which is lovely to watch.

Top line has caught fire again

Great game tonight shutting down the hottest team in the league. Boys were making crisp passes, forcing turnovers with their skating, and were committed again to team defense. All in all got back to the details that made them such a stingy team before the time off.

Unacceptable. I know Murray had to win one eventually, but you can't come into a game against a basement dweller and hand their goalie his first win after dropping 3 straight on the road. Starting to hate the Senators tbh. Can't imagine Sutter is too happy, and they have until Tuesday to stew on it.

Tough break. But we need to capitalize soon. Scoring chances are great but goals win games. And now we need at least 3 to stop this slide.

First goal for the 17th time in 21 games. Absolutely huge part of our success so far. Playing with the lead the majority of the time was a habit this team seriously needed to get into.

Excited to be able to catch this whole game as I do not work in the AM. Hopefully we get some momentum going in the dome as we've definitely been much better on the road.

I agree he's been as good as he's had to be. Defensive structure has helped a lot and this is what an elite goalies numbers tend to look like behind a solid defense. Liked what I've seen from Vladar as well so far.

Mangiapane with his 9th road goal and 10th on the year, thats something like 23 goals in his last 25 games. As I was saying all summer this is the birth of a star player. On to the next! Dunno about everyone else here, but I feel like Lindholm has been playing like a legitimate #1 C so far this season. As far as Eichel goes, idk what the Flames offer was but looking at it in hindsight I feel like Vegas was always going to try a little harder for him as they had a more dire need for a top 6 C than we did/do. They had Chandler Stephenson holding that spot between Patches and Stone and while a serviceable player he isn't exactly top line material.

6 game point streak now for Kylington. Happy to see him showing that high-end skill that had him, at one point, as one of the top D-prospects in 2015 (alongside players like Hanifin, Provorov). Consistency was always an issue but outside of how solid Andersson and Hanifin have been Kylington has been arguably our best D-man so far.

I like Chychrun but that's a steep offer.

Great game once again. Statement SO for Marky and 4th on the year already. Last year the Flames seemed to have a lot of misfortune but now they are playing with so much effort the bounces are coming with regularity. Could have been a different game somewhat had the Fox goal counted but a 6-0 win is always fun to see. On to the next one ! GFG!
