Well from what FN says we picked 3 C- and 1 C so that's 4 underwhelming players but I guess if you get 4 possible NHLers in 1 yr you can't complain plus you never know one of the C players could surprise we can only hope.

So we have 8 picks this season how would this message board Rate the Chances of any of them making the NHL weather they sign or get signing offers from the Flames ? Also what grade would you give the Flames Management on the picks they gathered in other words what are the chances this Fan base believes any of this kids will surprise use and become NHL regulars. Now I know what I'm asking is in some ppls mind is totally silly but I would like to see if any one has any asperations that some of these kids could become NHLers and what you believe are there attributes that could possibly push them into the NHL . Sounds a little like Mang of course my biggest fear is sighning him in 4 yrs since his favorite team is NY perhaps they will be kind enough to give us a third for him since he will not be signing here and I know I'm the glass half empty kind of person but he has no elegance to this team and loves NY I just don't understand the thinking behind picking NCAA players. What about let him go then resign him next yr at a cheaper deal if he wants to retire here i think 3.5 at his age is a great deal or there bouts. I'm Ok with that just stick with the OHL the Q WHL I would never Draft a Russian I thought we had another Russian player that wouldn't come here but like I have said before I know nothing compared to most here. Stoll was just An A hole just an Anomaly T E I thought he was a NCAA player and yes if got poisoning from a restaurant your Absolutely right never go there again hesitant to go else where as well. But mostly If I was a Manager and had the power I would never pick a College Player even if he was power or Beniers These are top quality players who the NHL Team would kill to get and I truly believe they will take there mulligan and go to the team they love unless of course it is the Rangers or TB or California. That is my belief right or wrong I would not risk it so if that was the case I would trade my first over all to one of the top 5 and get a top player or pick.

I think his trading is just as suspect as far as Im concerned the other fear I have is picking NCAA players and I know lots here think im crazy with that fear but Im not willing to risk top draft picks for players that can at anytime decide to sign with the team he loves and we just lost a pick for nothing.

Do you think we could get a high 1st round for Gio not that would want to trade him but we are limited in trade options and I want to keep MrT for sure he is still a young kid with lots of promise don't want to do another Bennett and watch him produce else were while we pickup up another crap pick or player the other team is trying to remove any way. After the pickups we got for Bennett BT should have been removed Bennett had way more to offer us even if he doesn't score he is tough and does his job in other aspects and now we have 2 seconds and the one that is ready to play will never end up in Canada probably not even in the A.
