I don't know, Man... it seems to me that it's unfair to ask a question in earnest, and then radically highlight the correct answer with a slightly larger font, and a underline.

Unless, of course, that was a clever deception. An argument could be made that Carey Price shouldn't be on this list. That guy hasn't done anything lately!

Love.

What I find funny is people jump on a player making 10, but a goalie in the AHL making 5 is fine?

Nurse and Jones at 9+ is okay?

We signed a contract after a player had got 100+ points on another team and got him in trade.

If we re-signed Gaudreau for this and he had a similar 22/23 season and another poor start, would we trash him?

Maybe if we had others that could score it wouldn't look so bad.

Every one of those guys on the list have other players that fill the net.

Troll buzzards are just going to cherry pick favourable stats. Wouldnt be surprised if the post was copy pasted from reddit or youtube, you know, where the great hockey minds converge.

Absolutely hilarious to me that you highlight a player below someone who is currently not playing the game and then title the thread "which player does not belong"

Pretty hard to take anything seriously when that is the case.

It was an old salary table. Nothing against Huberdeau except he is not worth 10M imo compared to other 10M players past or present.

And I would not disagree.

Could have gone in many other threads and been presented much better, which was the point of my post. Creating a new thread to dump on a player that could have been just been added elsewhere isn't worth it IMO.

Almost half of the players on your list are not worth what they are being paid.

First of all wingers and goalies don't belong on this list IMO, if you are paying top dollar for these positions you are doing it wrong.

Since 2020:

Panarin 1.26 pts/gm (272 points)

Pastrnak: 1.21 pts/gm (267 points)

Marner: 1.26 pts/gm (283 points)

Huberdeau: 1.04 pts/game (243 points)

Tavares: .97 pts/gm (225 points)

Kopitar: .88 pts/gm (208 points)

Eichel: .91 pts/gm (129 points)

So I would say Price, Bobrovsky, Tavares, Kopitar and Eichel belong on this list less than Huberdeau does.
