Lucic

Moss

Dave 'Tiger' Williams or Stu Grimson?

Larry Robinson or Zdeno Chara?

Tiger was SUCH a character.. have to go with him... and he could score too.

I'm at a loss with Robinson and Chara... great question. Chara just a complete package and the guy is just dominating he is at his peak. But Robinson was a game changer in his own right...

Ah screw it..

Chara

No contest, IMO... Robinson is one of the 10 best D-men of all time.

No contest, IMO... Robinson is one of the 10 best D-men of all time.

So is Chara tho (or close).. imo only behind Lidstrom and Pronger in this era.

Orr, Lidstrom, Bourque, Harvey, Potvin, Park, Chelios, Coffey, Stevens, Pronger... Robinson is in that group easily as well... as is Chara.

Pierre Pilote dominated the era before Orr, but you never hear a peep about him (i guess pre-expansion era effect). 10 straight yrs in the top 6 in Norris voting, 6 straight in the top 2, and 3 wins before Orr took it to a whole new level.

In terms of the top level Dmen each manhad in career overlap ...

Chara: Lidstrom, Pronger, Niedermayer, (Weber)

Robinson: Park, Potvin, Coffey, Langway

Team dominance - no contest.. Habs of the 70's 80's vs the Sens and Bruins of the new millennium.

I still lean Chara tho for the freak of a beast he is.

Dan Boyle or Kimmo Timonen?

Not a fan of either but I'll go with Boyle.

I think Robinson easily fits in taht group and I don't think Chara does. But that's fine, we all have our own opinions on players.

Darryl Sittler or Mats Sundin?

Sittler. Sundin although he strung together a very good career never struck me as an elite player. A very good player for sure but on any team but the Leafs he would never have achieved the notoriety that he did.

Kipprusoff or Vernon?

Billy Smith, if for no other reason than that epic dive-roll-flop he executed when Anderson skated by.

Wrong answer. :D

Hex even scored real goals.

Ziegler or Bettman? - *shakes fists in anger at having to choose* Ziegler

Reggie Lemelin or Tony Esposito?

Richard Brodeur or Chico Resch?

Tony

Chico

Gotta go with Luongo...he helped Canada win Gold in 2010, and he helps the Canucks lose on a yearly basis.

What more could we ask of him?

Chris Therian, or Jason Doig?

Since seeing Doig first hand, I'll choose Therian.

Kris Versteeg(321gms 201 pts) vs Mikhail Grabovski (319gms 201 pts): however, difference in style... whoyagot?
