we should have put him/Vladar on Waivers a month ago/yesterday. Called up Wolf and keep him up. Get Wolf nhl games and views on how Markstrom does the rest of the year. the team obviously isn't thinking the same way Conundrum is.

I am with cross that trading Markstrom keeps Montreal away from a good pick, keep them to Florida's pick. I dunno. I agree searching for a starter sucked... but I also think the whole last 15 years has sucked, even with Kipper and Iggy. So to me, goaltending is a small part of the problem. I would prefer a Detroit Redwings with Osgood over a Flames team built around Kipper. Kipper was my favourite player but like Carey Price, he masked a lot of flaws in the roster. I want them to go for Tij if he's the right target or "BPA" if it was any other player in any other circumstance. Tij for marketing and emotion has the chance of setting the team back further if he isn't what everyone thinks he is. Going emotional can kill the team.

I don't think it's very outlying season. They've been past the first round in every one of their playoffs aside from the one where they got screwed by the league. And they missed the playoffs once. The other times they went to conference finals. I'd say that's a huge success so far and exactly what mp5029 would want. i don't view a rebuild as a guarantee to win the cup. It's hard. What I expect a rebuild to do is get in every year and be a high contender.

id say the team is too emotionally invested in players. I get part of it is needing to be human. But I bet the new stadium goes further. While other teams Lavish their players in 5⭐️ hotel arena the flames are a 2 ⭐️ motel. its one part. but we always choose a down draft year to do this..:: this is iggy 2.0. Poor draft year.
