I’ve always considered Tkachuk kinda toxic. There’s that arrogance about him from dear old dad. JG always had a great demeanour. Kadri and Weegar have great demeanours. You can be good without being cocky. Huberdeau always seems intense af. Never sure if he wants to laugh or punch you.lol I like this mix way better. JG’s a fantastic player, it’s too bad his personality kept him from being forthcoming. He shouldn’t really be ostracized for having a, “avoid confrontation at all costs” personality. That’s usually a good trait. Just bad timing, but also makes you think he didn’t really wanna leave. Hate the habs, but hope Mony has a great comeback.

And of course their’s glow-in-dark. Uggh. Peeps are loving Florida’s. Go Figure.

Forgot about Kubalik. They played LA to the wire and lost 5-4 in OT with these lines: Kubalik-Larkin-Raymond Zadina-Copp-Perron Soderblom-Rasmussen-Sundqvist Erne-Veleno-Suter Quick played really well.

Both of my teams 2-0 out of the gate. Bert injured blocking a shot = Vrana-Larkin-Raymond, just like I wanted! Then Bert-Copp-Perron. If Bert’s out long (I’d be surprised), call up Berggren. Both goalies on both teams looking sharp. Fun season.

Lol. You want my championship? Weegar will be a huge difference to D, Kadri for O. I almost went Dube for 3rd in goals. Kinda wanted him 1RW, but that 2nd line will be fantastic. He’s due for a breakout, he’s worked his butt off. I love watching his confidence grow. Almost had a few vs the AVS.

Not a great opener vs weak MTL, Wings with the 3-0 win. 2 empty netters. Great goalie battle. That huge 3rd line of Soderblom-Rasmussen-Sundqvist looks really good. Combined for 2 goals and 6 pts. 3rd line…averaging 6’5”/220 lbs. Soderblom just ripped a spot from training camp. We knew he might be really good at 6’8”, but damn… He can skate like he’s 6’2”. 5 sog and a goal. Only Seider with 6 sog surpassed him for shots. Welcome to my Wings thread.lol Hockeytown. They really are. Peeps are excellent in my 100-odd visits. It’s been a long, painful rebuild. And Mickey Redmond is still the best in the business. Should be a fun season.
