Should age well too with the cap increasing. A solid 25-25 yr from Dube at 2RW or 30-35 1RW and our roster is pretty much set for next year too.

That's good news. Wanted neither, Wolf had a good camp. As for your last post, pre-season is just scrimmage for bonafide NHLers. There's little to take away.

It's just preseason, no big. Nobody get hurt is all that matters. No reason to try too hard. It's a glorified practice. Dube's pass was great. That was the only seam, a Flame on each side of it. It was kinda funny how that went. Dube with a giant eyeroll.

I think Dube top line RW. Rantanen's aren't available. Dube has always struggled with pace. Trying to play faster but buoyed by linemates. He can move the puck up and find Huberdeau with him now, not trying to buy time for catch-up.

I don't think it will really be trouble. Huberdeau has given players not unlike Toffoli's and Dube's career years. Add in Kadri and I think both RWers are good options. Not great, but you can't have it all. I could see Dube taking that spot from Toffoli just to give Huberdeau better speed and IQ. Toffoli likely fits better with Kadri and Mangiapane as far as pace goes.

Not concerned if Valimaki gets claimed. Dube will be good on the 2nd line, Rooney can stay LW with Backlund. Toffoli may have to swap with Dube though, hopefully not but maybe.

I never heard a peep from ANA fans that they cared that he was gone. We're waaay better than Anaheim rn. The PTOs (not Stone) I'm really hoping go away. Don't need them, they've served their purpose. Markstrom looked ready.
