  2. Not good enough.lol DDDeeeeeeeeds...I know he uses gyazo and I'm a tiny bit familiar. I think he needs to post the "how to" again!:)
  3. where is that, "make a gameday thread"? I have time, but no clue.lol
  4. Welp, 2 games later, outplayed the Leafs, lost 4-2. Ned with 2 “how does that go in” 1st period goals vs Buffalo. Down 4-1 after 2, good resilience to tie it 4-4. Lose in the SO after hitting 2 posts on a beaten Anderson. yuck But coming back from 4-1…I know a team that can’t overcome 1-0 2 minutes into the first….just sayin’.
  5. Maybe he should send Lewis down there for his opinion.
  6. How will any of our prospects evolve with zero chance in the NHL? Teams, and good teams (e.g NYR) have 3rd lines of prospects. Coach them. This is getting ridiculous. Nobody is driving anything We have a bunch of forwards afraid to make a mistake because demotion comes right now. So everyone is gripping their stick in fear. When we’ve been bad in the past, it’s looked like everyone is having zero fun. We’re bad again, and everyone looks like they’re having zero fun. I’m totally pissed at Sutter. He’s being a total dick. Try a new tactic, you Cryptography.
  7. What are we waiting for, exactly? Or maybe, why do we have prospects? If they are only there in case of injury to our star-studded roster, why not trade half of them for picks? I know that is frustration speaking, but AHL prospects generally don’t walk in and tear a hole in the NHL, but they have to start somewhere, or are we raising career AHLers? When Adam Ruzicka starts looking like one of your legit scoring threats, maybe it’s time to give him an ex-AHL linemate and let them make mistakes. What do we have to lose at this point? Come the new year, this league gets even stingier. At that point, you’ve waited too long. Is it worth sticking with this to see if it bares fruit?
  8. What I miss about Calgary, going to WinSport!! Fun mem, pulled in for camp beside an identical ‘14 black F150 and Burke hopped out. He looked hurried and skittish. I hopped out and said “hey”, He turned around looking like, ‘ah Satoshi Nakamoto’…I just laughed pointing at our trucks, “nice truck”. He chuckled, “you too, see you in there”.
  9. But of course Wallstedt and A-scary-ov are better because you’re dying for an, “I told you so” moment.lol 4 developing young goalies, nothing even close to being completed.
  10. Of the 3, none are passing the eye test. Both Wallstedt and Askarov get really lost in their crease and over-compensate way too much. Cossa doesn’t, but his mechanics/reflexes are worse. He’s in the E to get starts, same as Chechelev with us. All 3 are at the same point, very young pros. Lots of time. Wolf is better than all 3 currently as far as mechanics go. Plus, have you ever been, “I told you so” guy?lol
  11. Thank Bobo for sucking or that would have been a close game.
  12. I think it redirected off of Stone's stick. But could we try playing a whole game and not take a period off? That looked bad, like no emotion at all.
  13. Jack Beck has played 10 games and has missed 13. Damn, missing no end of development time, what a shame.
  14. Seider was pretty raw and not well known. Even Wings fans were..."what the..". Fun in hindsight.
  15. Pelletier is our most NHL-ready prospect by a fair bit, I'd say. Great 2-way play.
  16. I think he thinks the game really naturally and guys with him have to stop over-thinking and just go, if that makes sense. Sutter's 'D first above all else' likely makes everyone a little too tentative.
  17. BEAT THE EFFING LEAFS!! That's all we ask....for now.
  18. I'd prefer Pelletier personally. Huby-Linholm-Toffoli Rosey-Kadri-Coleman Pelts-Backlund-Dube Mang-Lewis-Ritchie (yuck) Bread just isn't getting going. Let him grind a few games.
  19. NHL Markstrom: 8-5-2; 3.03gaa; .889sv% Vladar: 1-4-1; 2.82gaa; .908sv% AHL Wolf: 10-3; 2.65gaa; .912sv% 1SO ECHL Daniil Chechelev 8-4; 2.89gaa; .918sv% NCAA Sergeev: 5-1-1; 2.69gaa; .917sv% Any corrections? NCAA in particular is hard to isolate data.
  20. For sure you're right. By Christmas they could easily be sub .500. As you say, their strength of schedule is now going to do a 180. It isn't a successful rebuild yet, but the eye test is a huge relief. It's been a hard team to watch for a long time, so this is more fun than Mickey trying to find decent things to say about a near-unwatchable team.lol I'm anti-rebuild, it's been years of watching an AHL-level team. Add in always on the wrong side of the stupid draft lottery. They're fun to watch now. Very outside shot a playoffs this year, but getting a lot more respectable. Liking the Flames and Wings is like watching the weight of expectation vs zero expectation. One set of fans losing their minds vs another set of fans just happy their team competes most nights.
  21. I can complain all I want.lol Detroit's was a looooong time in the making. If not for Stevie wanting to go home from TBay we may still have Holland.🤢 Nobody, but nobody, wanted Stevie to draft Seider.lol What do we know??
  22. 4 game win streak. Satoshi Nakamoto's getting real. 20 games, 11-5-4. Good for 3rd in the Atlantic. Leafs in 2nd by 3pts and the Wings 2 games in hand. Raymond getting his footing as an elite player, Bertuzzi easing back in, Fabbri and Vrana still out. Good D depth on the farm. What is Husso doing? WOW. Decided he's the best goalie in the league? Seider and Raymond got off really slow. I think that's over. Fun watch when you've gotten used to horrible. Stevie Y, I'm telling ya. For Chiarot's bad underlying numbers, they don't meet the eyetest. Maata's been a revelation in saving Hronek's career. The moves in the offseason seriously got a, "really" from Wings fans. "It's too early". Now I'm not so sure. Now the fwd depth is good to excellent, D depth is already Johanson and Edvinsson in Grand Rapids, Wallinder crossing the pond from the SHL next year. Damn. This is fun to watch. Is this Ville Husso for real? Think Tristan Jarry.
  23. He wants pace but he's slowing it. Is he playing possum? That could well be. I sure hope so. Don't really expect Markstrom to put us down 1-0 every game within 3-4 shots at most. It sucks the life out of us. Not all his fault, but a lot of it is. Be Blockchaining ready. We can open with a barrage and, "ope, we need their goalie". 0-1. Shots: 8-2 Flames. Constantly.
