Can someone please enlighten me as to how 40 shot or so per most games and still lose is put on the D does the other teams play or quality shots so much better than ours does the D allow more high danger shots than our team has in high danger shots are we just shooting a ton of shots towards the net that are just none threatening ? I was always told to put the puck on the net and good things happen and I think that's true especially if the goaltending is sub par and can't stop a basket ball . I think our goalis can't stop a slow pich baseball at the best of times this yr. I put this on the Goalies and perhaps some bad play by D but not all on the play on D and forwards .

Sorry disagree the problem this yr is goaltending when you out shoot teams by 20 shots and still lose it can only be tending in my little mind. I remember when sutter was sighned this form seemed pretty pumped as I was. When you lose 2 top players your top point geters and still out shoot teams by 20 shots that to me is coaching aagain in my little mind..

Thanks don't get me wrong I would not want Wolf up here now he will bring this new home a very good chance of a culder cup and wouldn't want to kill that chance and perhaps we will; get a good top 12-15 pick . Here's hoping

I have been saying since the beginning of the season that we should have given Wolf a shot but since it is me it is dumb but dumb or not I would have loved to see how he faired in the bigs I would bet we would be in the playoffs for sure. We out shot almost every team by 10 or more shots and we were shooting at a 40 shot per most games how can you lose so many games with that out put and don't put it on D that's not fair.

Conner is an inch taller than JH and if we do get first over all he will play in the NHL right away just like JH and will be the Rookie of the yr . Some ppl on this form said the exact same thing about JH and look what he did I know JH was older but he is not as good as Conner so I believe he will be here if we get first over all which I highly doubt NHL hates the Flames all because of the crab that happens yrs ago can't remember his name but because the Flames backed him the NHL has never forgave the Flames so even if we get a pick it will not be first NHL will make sure of that.

So we have the chance of getting a decent pick but choose to win enough to lose out on a quality pick why? even if we get into the playoffs we will be out in first round so what we now allow the Flams management get a playoff cash win but what good is that for the team it's self ? We don't gain a damn thing other than one 4-7 games so in others words one and done and get a top 20 - 25 pick but if we can manage to lose say the next 8 games we can perhaps get a over all 12th rounder next yr we have no firstsa or the next yr after that lets take advantage of option to get a top pick this yr I have no trouble with the team losing the next bunch of games if it gives us a chance top pick.

I will not blame D when we out shoot at such a constant play I can't believe we are so bad at D that we can out shoot a team by 20 shots or better and still loss if that is the case then we should be removing sutter. We had a bunch of good D who never even gave a chance like Macay I disagree with with blaming D sooner or later you have to see it is the final position that has to do there jobs if they don't then were looking at exactly what's happening lose after lose.. Now I'm listening to the Fan and how bios they are when it comes with the trades that just took place I ho[pe they pay them well to throw such crap at the fans scary.

As far a I can see is we mostly out play most teams and out shot by 20 shots or better which tells me we are losing due to bad goal trending and our top managemnet and coaches are blind to bad work from our most important possession I don't understand why it is ignored?

All I can say is I hope we are sellers and not buyers Toffoli is still worth something lets get what we can for him Dube is as far as I'm concerned stail and the same with Mang. We have a bunch of players unable to play sutters game and we are losing every time we put Marky in net I keep wondering why the coach refuses to bring up some fresh blood in net unless they plan on losing this yr for a High pick

I have seen this team drop a ton of firsts and second round picks in the last 7 yrs. We need to stop dumping our picks and start picking up picks we are no long a threat in the NHL we get a ton of shots but according to this forum 57 shots don't mean crap none are high risk shots enough to win a game. I myself believe we are short on quality puck stoppers and to stupid to bring up a top quality goalie ? It's time to remove players like Mang dube and toffoli . Since we are struck with Huber and Kad for the next 100 yrs and just like gio this form will start trading him for a bag of pucks or just give him away or better yet lets give the team a 1st and a 2nd since he will be a useless goal scoring player. I don't understand owner ship allowing BT to pay to move a player just to bring in a goal scorer who that has only produced 45 points in 65 gp and the player we paid to give to Montreal has produced 17 points in 25 gp other than Mony only playing 25 games he has produced enough points to get any other team a 3rd to 4th round player.on top of that we could not give away our first rounders for Chych because we gave them away to take Mony I don't understand why BT is still here and top management for the Flames? We need to to remove our management and start a fresh but please do not bring sutter in as management he has already destroyed this team. Yes I'm ranting and yes I have no Idea what I'm talking about but I know enough to know the Flames management will bring us back to the dark ages. I say now that Chyck is gone no reason to dump anything unless it is to get high quality picks for the next few yrs.

Marky is turning into a price lost all his abilities to see the puck what I don't understand is why we don't take a chance on Wolf I don't see what we have to lose?

Is it just my imagination or does it seem that we have a great season one yr and the next this team can no longer match play of the yr before Marky last yr was a vezina finalist and this yr he can't stop a beach ball. I guess my biggest question is why one yr were top or close to top in our division and the next we can't put 3 straight wins together? This is not the first time we have done this our coach becomes coach of the yr of course we don't get past the second round for that season and the next yr we are removing the coach and looking to trade our picks for more dead weight. I really hate to say this but I think it is time to clear the front office and trade all our dead weight for picks and start over again remove Nas Coleman Huber keep up pel bring up Phillips and perhaps zary. If they don't bring up Wolf might as well start praying for first over all pick. There is no way Marky is going top stop a beach ball and Vlad can't play every game. I would trade Matt and who ever else to get another pick this yr depending on the over all choice we give Maybe Wolf Matt and our first for first over all? Just so you know I know I'm a dreamer.

It's ashamed we haven't acknowledged the fact that this team for the most part has put 40 shots or better at the ops net and yet we lose? isn't it time to bring up some help in net the way things are going what do we have to lose a couple more points if it fails? If were working towards an early first round pick then yes keep playing Marky but if we want to win then it's time to bring up the Wolf make sure it is on a full moon

So are we not worried about our future we have about 4 top 9 players no #1 like a mony or chucky or even mang at this point. I know the Wranglers are high in the standings but that is what quality goal tending does for a team if we had that in the Flames we could possibly be doing as well as the Kraken. I will nev er understand why we would hide such a player in the minors specially with the problems in net?

It seems to me that Marky was put in to give him a chance to redeem himself against a poor team and Marky didn't put a good game together plus I noticed we allowed 29 shots against which doesn't help marky much but if you can't trust him to stop the puck then we are going to fail every time. I don't understand why we can't give Wolf a shot I feel he has showed he deserves a chance in a flames jersey ? He might only be 6' but he stands 6'6" in the net come on sutter give the kid a chance it's time Marky is having a very bad yr either send him to Rapid City or just let him go home for a few weeks let him just chille.. By the way I do appreciate when I don't get jumped on and made to feel like an idiot Although I'm sure most of the time I do speak with out paying attention to other comments. There are a lot of conversations and it is hard to read everything and I just read the last few comments which of course kills my cred .
