Wow 1 goal in 62 games we have yourself a a goal scorer woho were on the right track LOL. So where are we heading this season with players that have 1 goal a season please tell me we are not looking to move to the bottom of the league. We couldn't even sign Phillips a Calgary boy would rather leave the city he loves I wonder why? I know ppl on this forum have the class all full but even this forum must see we are hitting the bottom of the barrel. We have lost every quality player we have picked in the last 7 yr MrT gone JH gone Looch gone Lindy gone every one wanting to move Hanifin because we know he will not resign here as well where does that leave us next yr we lose our first round pick and we will be picking top 6 which will go to MTL. I don't know about you guys but I have lost any faith I had in Conny.

Almost seems like no one wants the be in Calgary not even Phillips how sad is that

Do you think Hanifin and lind will resign here or are we hooped and why are we still holding on to Hubs? I think we will be paying for him for the next 8 yrs and we will buy him out in the next 5 yrs .

I don't understand why we would pass up on high end kids for a possible or maybe he will recover and become more than a or better than kids higher in the rankings with the lack of quality players we have now why would he take a chance on a player that might never be the player he was before he got hurt. I don't think it is a smart way to start.

I was afread of that so now we let four teams team a better player and had Conny blow smoke up or bottom half thanx Conny you have started with a great line of smoke blowing and we are going down the tubs for the next 5-7 yrs. So my next question is which pick does MTL get next draft or 2025 is it ours of FP ?

By the way I hope we give Phillips a chance at a 2 way contract for at least 1 yr he deserve our respected and. He has done nothing but excel in the A and 1 lousy game in the NHL is not a fair assessment he needs at least ( games at the beginning and perhaps a bunch in the full season being a Calgary kid and all. I know it's a business but for me it's a Calgary team and I would at least give him more of a 1 game chance I bet he would surprise us all.

Was htere a drafty you guys thought we could have drafted instead of Honz? or even any of our other drafts I'm not big on the kids I have enough trouble trying to keep track of our Flames players

It seems most D we pick if they are noit pikeing in 4or5 yrs they trade them just look Kulak he just hit the NHL and they gave him away.

I wouldn't wait till after draft day he might pull a JH and well get nothing for him. I would still look at any deals that could come from him or Toffoli move them now why wait till it's to late.

I would not go with less than a top teens pick for hiim I guess I have more love for his abilities than every one on here I think he is a Martin Brodeur type player and he is only 2in shorter

You are mentioning players that will be gone by the time we pick unless we do some kind of deal which I can't see happening only thing I see happening is the same thing we seem to do almost every draft and that is trade our pick for a 20th or something like that and a 2nd or 3rd round pick I know you guys seem to have some kind of faith in connie but he does not have a mean streak in him and he will be walked all over JMO. Do U ppl think conny can get a first for Toffoli and perhaps a 2nd or is that asking to much for him? Also Lindholm what kind a trade will we get for him I forgot these guys on there last yr perhaps connie can make some kind of deal where as if he sihns with the team he will get a better pick next yr

So NHL mock has Honzek as our pick is he worth our pick or should we move to a higher pick and pick up another pick say 2nd round or 3rd ?

We need picks and lots of them we need players that can't leave for at least 6 yrs and please no college kids I know coronato signed here but I don't think he knew every power forward we have is jumping ship.

The great news is we gave away our first next yr to MTL for a good player with some issues now what do we have a team that has lost 2 or more top players and we will be around top 12 pick next yr ohh and wait it goes to MTL what a deal

So with most of our players wanting to leave where does that leave us with a new arena why would Alberta and Calgary invest in a team that can't keep there star players?
