    Exactly , our PP was so bad it gave the Oilers the advantage and a goal. I knew their plan was to disrupt as much 5 on 5 time as possible and we fell for with the help of the refs too. Still no excuses we had the lead and lost the game.

    That Oilers team we saw pressuring the Flames is what I was hoping the Flames were going to be ready for. They did it to Pit and even Colorado recently. Flames really need to get their possession game back here!

    I’ll give some credit to the screen rather than put it all on Marky..if he lets in a softy next especially glove side like u said than it’s definitely a problem.

    This is exactly what the Oilers want from us….egging is in to taking the lame penalties. They are trying to dig their way back , Flames need composure here and another kill

    Bouchard definitely sold it but Coleman needs to control that ish…did the same thing to us in Dallas , just poor timing. Momentum is ours

    Bad penalties all year by Coleman, my only gripe against him really.

    Kane and the Oilers are just hoping the emotion of this series draw the Flames into the penalty box. They can’t play with us 5 on 5. Woodcroft himself said his confidence was based off of them scoring “6 goals, 5 on 5 , on their goalie at home..” Even his as$ didn’t believe the Oilers could score without them being on a PP…Oilers will play smarter tonight but they’ll still get out worked.

    Draisatl will play, this is pretty lame ploy by Woodcroft. If Draisatl is somehow held out then expect a much more workman like approach with Shore in the lineup

    Can’t hate on the enthusiasm either, I still think this game is going to be a tough out. Both teams will be playing tight hockey tonight, a sweep would be great!…but realistically not likely. McDavid has already shown he can steal games. Going up 2-0 would just set this long weekend off right! Still not surprised if the Oilers do in fact steal one from us tho …they’ve already hit rock bottom so they’ll be desperate!

    It’s no secret , tommorow will be a completely different game. Oilers will show up this time and the Flames will be ready. Think we see closer to a 3-2, 4-3 max kind of score tommorow. McDavid will be that constant X factor but he can be contained. I believe the Ducks did a good job of it back in 2017…Connor ain’t a God. He’s just a dude who lives in Edmonton. This might come down to which Markstrom we get…the Vezina version or the Mike Smith one?
