Yikes...

Up front outside of Pospisil and Kadri there is no sand paper...the 4th line and Hunt are Timbits...Martha is big but plays small

The defence is a nightmare...Miromanov on your top pair?  We have two top 4 guys and a bakers dozen of 6-7 guys

In goal no safety net in front or behind of Wolf

Seattle's going to have a massive hangover. Bigger than mine with the D not getting Stammer. But $8 x 4 was just too rich. Picked up Talbot cheap. I'm good with both of my teams approaches so far.

A lot of buyer beware going on, imho.

LOMBERG to Calgary!!!! YAY, we love you, you hyper little bastard!!!!!

Again over paid for borderline talent. Not a big enough deal to get upset over.

I would've  gone about 1.5, kind of the Hathaway deal... but then we are about 5 years from that deal?

Conroy and Huska both want to be tougher and Lomberg certainly gives you that. It’s a horrible deal but given the state of their team for the next two years they’ll be fine paying it.

as long as the flames don’t overpay for term it’s not worth getting upset over. Short term overpays are manageable

new clubhouse leader for worst deal of the day

That deal was always going to scare me. He's made 10.6m in his career, he was always going to chase dollars. He got it. Still think the Kraken are looking at picking in the 8-12 range again.

First free agency in a while with a decent cap jump and some certainty that the cap will keep rising.

Not inflation just more money for teams to spend

it is inflation in hockey. Fans always quote the fact that players signed contracts that were certain %'s of the cap to justify inflated contracts, so it really is some inflation being taken into consideration.

I don't mind the player.  Energy guy, perfect 4th liner.  Not like a Hathaway term WAS signed.

Speaking of WAS, they have PLD and Strome.

Send us Strome for a song.

We take maybe a crap deal with it.

TVR or Sandin.

Debrusk to Vancouver 7 years at $5.5m.

Glad Conroy stayed clear of that deal.

Yup! Dollar value is reasonable but that term way too much for Cgy currently .

I tend to disagree. $2mil for some much needed intangibles for a team with tons of cap is fine.

Both Huska and Conroy know what he adds, even if it's less in the skill sense.

BT is an idiot for ever letting him go.

I watched a lot of Florida prior to the Tkachuk trade. Lomberg is absolutely jacked on the bench.

And when he scores 1 of his 4 on the season, everyone is "LFG".

Dude is uplifting and inspires his more skilled/star teammates.

Huberdeau might like having him around.

So far the only miss I see from Conroy is Lomberg, low $$$ and cap hit for 2 years but seems like a unnecessary player.

seems like they are trying to force Shar and Zary to Ctr with Mantha and Lomberg for either wing.

the big question is Kylington..like the Bean situation 100% he’s a PP QB D so definitely seems

like Kylington is leaving?

Lomberg is a 4th liner. But when you score, he's happier than your own dad. lol

Dude excels at uplift.
