Like a 33% chance? The likelyhood of winning a shootout decreses when you put the guy struggling out there. Sharky? For sure, the hottest player on the team. Lindholm? Okay, not the worst decision, decent shot. Huberdeau as the last shooter in regular SO? Bizarre. Kadri for the 1st extra shooter? 2nd in scoring. Not great but the mistake was the 3rd shooter. Another solid G effort, both of my teams getting good at wasting those. The two efforts I have seen recently are both fails. Sharky's last two were sneaky but he hit the upper net both times. Huberdeau has done that exactly once this year, but it was him stationary in the slot. As much as I hate shootouts, we do sometimes get a penalty shot, when the refs are drunk. Coleman and Sharky seem to have the best shot that comes close to beating the goalies. After that, maybe Ruzicka. Zary and Pospisil are tricky but I would lean towards Zary's creativity. The choices beyond Sharky are pretty bizarre. In 3 games that went to SO, we had these guys. NYI Sharky (backhand - G) Huberdeau (wrist - miss) Andersson (wrist - miss) Zary (wrist - miss) Toronto Huberdeau (wrist - miss) Sharky (wrist - G) Zary (wrist - miss) Kadri (wrist - miss) Dube (backhand - miss) Washington Huberdeau (backhand - miss) Sharky (wrist - crossbar miss) Kadri (wrist - post miss) Minny Sharky (wrist - G) Lindholm (wrist - miss wide) Huberdeau (wrist - miss) Kadri (backhand - miss) I mean I get that you give the chance to the guy you think is feeling it. 0-4 for Huberdeau and 0-3 for Kadri. We need to find a guy that can score. It's a single extra point, but we missed the playoffs by a couple of SO or OT losses last year. Trending that way again, except we have won some OT games.
