I would say that if you don't bother skating to get the puck with a DAL player headng towards it, it doesn't matter what the other were doing. They would have been playing shallow since it was a simple retrieval and they would normally send back a guy with Ras for the set up. So, it really didn't matter. I don't even get what they were doing on the change. Should have been simple possession before you get off the ice. Ras was on with (somehow) Backlund, Mange and Hiberdeau.
