The players haven't given up, but seem to be understanding that getting away from the systems is the only chance they have. I don't know anymore. Can't score it seems. Can't hold a lead. The 1st line was the best until shut down in the playoffs. And we didn't have a quality 2nd line and the 4th looked slow after a year of all-out play. It limited what we could do in the 2nd round. it's a different team but the base is similar. There are rollovers that just shows how it didn't work last year. i think Lucic gets a contract next year, but not with us. He's not an nhler but fills a bit of a need. I don't know how much of a difference Guddy made last year, but he was a good 3rd pairing guy. Stone is a role player and can't make up for Zaddy's bad plays. Missing Kyl's skating.
