Yeah me and Lou are suffering with our all out bet on the last 4 teams left.

If we get it right could pay big dividends for us.   If we get it wrong those that have taken a more balanced approach should do well!!

Like the Flames in it for the long haul.....

in some series I picked players on both sides so in one or two I will lose a set. But I gambled they’ll be the ones to get the points and that 10+ points for them would be decent. 20 points in a playoff year seems like a good haul, so getting more than 10 from a player would be a success.

RD, maybe it's just me but I can't see the reults.  Looks like the link is broken.  Hate to be a pain.

You would almost think I was tracking points and knew I was gaining.  LOL

Saymzies is killing it.  Smart playing the odds on round one being mostly tied.

It could hurt him in the longer term if people have get their brackets right.  But yeah spreading it around is working right now.

Yeah, I was kinda alluding to that.

If he gets it right, then he could be a force, but a limited force.

For every bracket, the number of players is small.

So much faith here in the Flames going long.

I love it, and hope we are all right!

You are in tough to win that PIT-NY bracket.

Oilers-LA bracket not set in stone, though I think EDM prevails.  Maybe.

LA looked like they solved half of their problems.

Who you pick in the Canes series.

I figured it would be a cake walk for Canes.

Face licker knows how to turn a series.

I have Canes-Boston as a pick 'em. Although I lean to the Canes. It's the G injury(s) that keep me from them outright.

NYR are in very tough. But, those were my guesses when selecting players.

Am I the only one that took Ekblad? I read him as game-time decision for Game 1, love the player. Him and Hedman the 1-2 dmen in the league, either order, imo.

Calgary-Fla final. Ekblad got the Calder, Johnny gets the Stanley.

In my own little world at least.lol

edit

That's why I took zero players from Bruins-Canes, too much uncertainty for me. And both will be gone after rd 2;)

I went with conf finals Wild v Flames and TBL vs Carolina.

Wild were looking good coming into the playoffs and I thin if they get past the Blues could take Colorado who will be stone cold with the layoff.

Flames because I am homer.

Carolina v Boston was the hard one for me.  Could have gone either way.

I went with TBL because I want revenge for 2004.

What??lol

I took Flames because I think they've got a great make-up and a bunch of looks.

No probs if it's TBay. Ekblad missed last year's playoffs and they were really good. I figured he'd get them over the hump.

Bobo needs to up his game though.

I was thinking no way PITTS would go far, due to goalie issues.  CAR had goalie issues as well.

Turns out it's NY that has goalie issues.  I only have one from CAR and BOS each and no PITTS.

I must have not checked the brackets properly in the East.

I will lose TBL or FLA, and will be lucky to have barely any players from the other bracket.

West was a crap shoot.

Anyone from STL or MIN playing 2nd round against COL.

I had to take Minny and no St Loo due to how highly I think of Kaprizov. Kaprizov and his playmaker Zuccarello.

Kaprizov is frigging legend. Targeted like crazy and it doesn't seem to matter. Quite the player.

I would expect that MIN or STL could take out COL.

Wasn't confident in what Minny was doing with MAF, since they had Talbot.

But they traded a potential 1st for him and playing him to meet the conditions of the trade.

Fiala blows me away.  Still so young.

Hasn't lit it up yet, but very solid player.

On a side note, I hope the Oilers get beaten at home tonight.

Wipe that stupid smirk off Smith's face.

He said that when he was in CGY, he loved the team and the city.

Since we didn't offer him a multi-year deal like Holland, he hates us now.

Loves his team now.

Hang it up already dude.

You've been the goat here and in EDM.

If they lose the first round they will blame it on you.

Just like last year.

Retire and hit them with a cap penalty.
