Havent you heard? Because of the pass last night he's back to being the savior in net again.

The vezina is his.

I saw the play.  It was like a slow roller and McD skated past Burnsie (I think).

Not that Burns can skate.

You would think it was goal of the year.

Smitty did the old "oh my leg" and got a 2 minute break on the action earlier.

SJS was pressing at the time.

Nothing has changed in EDM.

Have to score 6 some nights to be sure.

Even 5 isn't safe.

4 wins since March 1st against playoff teams.

But they are a powerhouse, right?

Flames are too stationary on the PP. They have such good players that can create movement but they just stand and pass stationary

I’d say we’ve lost some of our aggressiveness the last little bit. Both offensively (attacking the net, forechecking and puck pursuit) and defensively (limiting time and space, moving it forward quickly). Not sure if they’re “managing their health” but there is a noticeable difference in their play as of late. We’re up 2-0 which is good, but I do want to see some of those details come back before playoffs.

Missing Monahan.

Actually, they have too many RHS which changes how they set up.

I  Think Toffoli has made the top PP weird. I don’t think it flows as well as it was before he was put on it. Maybe it’s a coincidence.

maybe send one of the RHS’s to PP2?

better period than the first but too bad they let that last one in.

i notice that too, maybe Sutter has to ramp it up in the last ten? They’re not attacking the play like they used to? On both ends of the ice.

He's there for the one-tmer, but that takes it from Lindy.

I think Mange would be a better idea.

Saying that, Toffee does have 4 PPG in his time here and 7 PPP.

The 2nd unit sucks due to Backlund being on it.

Yup! Begin phase 2 in getting them going?

Stage 2 Complete

Begin Stage 3.

I might have to switch to phases.

Just about ran out of stages in the EDM game.

Imagine that, a Flames-Oilers series and we beat them 9-2.

Sweep 4-0.

The fans would never show up in CGY again.

take Backlund off it and put Ruzicka on. Pin Toffoli to his hip.

Well, I am happy that Mange and Toffee were in on a goal.

Backlund was the firestarter, but really had nothing to do with the finish.

Coleman is getting the chances.

Between Ruzie and Coles, they have 5 shots tonight.

I get it though.  There were 3-4 cold players.

If you ain't scoring, then play defense.

Doesn't hurt the team for GA.

Watch the games though and you probably can see why they are cold.

Coleman manufactures out of nothing, so defense to offense works for him.

Mange needs to be forechecking to generate, and if you are one and done from a bad pass, there nothing there.
