You can always sign and trade for low ceiling guys but you can't for top 6 guys or top 4 d, and when you do you pay a ton. Not to mention if you swing some times that player may not reach it but can still be a player. When you draft low ceilings guys and they don't pan out their are AHLers Draft for ceiling all the time.
