I think you have to grab it, and throw it in front of the net, don't you?

Holy schnikeys that pass by Huberdeau.
You know, without the real time context, I have no idea what that means.

If you play or coach in CHI, you better just not cross certain lines. Everything else is fine.
Unless you're on a Stanley Cup run, then you can do whatever you want.Love.

I don't know, Man... it seems to me that it's unfair to ask a question in earnest, and then radically highlight the correct answer with a slightly larger font, and a underline.
Unless, of course, that was a clever deception. An argument could be made that Carey Price shouldn't be on this list. That guy hasn't done anything lately!

Hahaha thats awesome wish I was there at the time, too funny..
Not even the first time... we got in trouble at Boston Pizza for the same trick, except that time, it was this song:
They didn't kick us out, but they did unplug the jukebox.

So we can say we are bringing some attitude with this group..... and non stop cowbell too..
A friend of mine and I were once kicked out of the pool hall at Canyon Meadows when we put this song on the jukebox over 20 times in a row.

I wonder if he would have gotten anything more than 7 minutes a game or 4th line with Lucic. To be fair, I think they gave Phillips about 18 minutes over 2 games, so I think Pospisil would have shown something.
I am glad that Pospisil is playing more like Mangiapane does. Not fighting, just being hard on the player. The one game where he nearly got to blows, he tied up the player so he couldn't get his punches in. Don't need him to fight.
I did like the Ferland comparison. I think it might have been @robrob74 who made it. I like his game a lot, but I do have concerns about the longevity - not because of the heart, but because of the injury history. Hopefully my instincts are wrong in this case!

Nice going, TD.
I just noticed, however, that you've got the time wrong. I suspect you copied the title from the last several GDTs, which also had the time wrong. @Ryan Man was the last poster to get it right for the Predators game. Then second-guessed himself, and it's been all the way wrong ever since.
It's definitely MST.Anyway, here's a cool one that's unrelated. Feels like I owe you one for being the "Well actually..." guy.

Maybe we need more Heat. Oops, that's the old name. More Wranglers?
Zary one point back in 9 less games. He's a plus 2.
Pospisil 3 back in 10 less games. He's a plus 5.
Pospisil has managed that in 6 less minutes average per game.
Oh yeah, my point being that Lindholm has played very poorly this year by his standards, and up until now, no one has been paying much attention because Huberdeau, and up until a few games ago Kadri, have been taking all the heat.

I wonder if it might be time to move Lindholm off of center, he isn't really driving play, he looks disinterested. Maybe moving him to the wing will allow him to just focus on offense. Guys like Ruzicka, Zary, Dube, Sharangovich can play center, even Pospisil played some center in the AHL.
I think Huberdeau is taking a lot of heat off of Lindholm.

Wow!
I wonder if Hockey will ever go this route, where someone attacks a guy, like the Bertuzzi/Moore incident, and I guess they settled out of court? But in real life, these kinds of attacks would be criminal. The way some use their skates, I wouldn't say many have deliberately tried to injure by kicking, but it has happened to me in a beer league game where a player down kicked at my shins, skate first. Dangerous. When does a hit turn into intent to injure?
Yeah, I'm very interested to see where this goes, or what the justification is for laying the charge. Is this a Bertuzzi/Moore incident, or is it a Tuttle/Malarchuk incident?
If they are laying the charge, there has to be some justification that it's more like the former. If not, that's a super dangerous precedent.

Pretty stoked to see Wolf get the start. I hope he has a great showing!
If you're in town, please do come check out the Iron Maiden tribute/EMS Moustache Party afterwards. It'd be cool to meet some of the board!

If the Sens don't pick it up soon I don't see how Dorion can keep that job much longer.
You know, this is the kind of thing that makes me angry with the league at times.
Remember a few years ago, when the Arizona Coyotes forfeited their 2020 second-round pick and 2021 first-round pick for violating the NHL’s combine testing policy? That seemed like a pretty substantial punishment. I am curious, how is it that the Chicago Blackhawks could win the most consequential draft lottery since McDavid less than a year after the news broke that they had a coach that was sexually assaulting a former first-round pick, and that furthermore, members of the staff, including the coach and GM at the time were aware of it?
Maybe it's a false equivalency. I hope so.

I'm not sure that Love would have fared any better than Huska.
I do not feel that the issue is coaching; to me, it's all on the players.
Wrong players, wrong mix, it doesn't matter much.
Since the Flames arrived in Calgary, I have yet to see them sell off veterans and stock pile draft picks.
It is just about the only thing that they have not tried.
Sadly, I'm ready for it.
Oh my gosh! I hear ya! In my opinion, the time to sell was last year at the deadline. It was pretty clear from right around January that they weren't going to go very far, even if they did make the playoffs. Some of the outrageous overpayments at the deadline last season would have looked great on the Flames! There were individuals on this board advocating for that at the time. I would have moved everyone that I could that didn't have a newborn.
Instead, we ended up with Slick Nick Richie with the season on his stick in the last shootout that mattered. This team is in some big trouble, and you've got to keep in mind, there's still one more bullet in the chamber from the Monahan trade. The Flames might not get a first round pick in June.

I'm left wondering if Mitch Love would've been a better choice. Probably not. In Huska's defense, this isn't a team oozing with talent.
Love was my preferred option, but not because he necessarily would have fared better. I just like the idea of the rising star, and I think Ryan Huska has been behind the Flames bench too long. Smart guy, and all that, but it was a pretty milquetoast selection in my opinion. He might have been the right choice two or three coaches ago, but this one feels overcooked.

escape power/play fund -3 of good shooting/scoring defencemen on unit 2b

Three D power play?! It's cheeky, but not as cheeky as the time that Brent Sutter deployed five defencemen against Vancouver:
Shockingly, the ploy didn't work, and the boys went 0/3 on the PP that night, and allowed one shorty to Mason Raymond en route to his first career hat trick*, eventually losing 7-2.

* - Mason Raymond would score another hat trick years later, but this time he played for the Flames and propelled them to a 5-2 victory over the Oilers
