If that team would be a favorable matchup to your 2nd round possible opponents. Weigh the value of ignoring the other races and concentrate on your team vs subtle gamesmanship to your other opponents. All I can say is we ended up playing some teams over the course of the years that were really bad matchups for us. CHI, ANA.... It's not a fair start to the playoffs, so I don't know that you can glean anything from the outcome. This and the CHI game were plunked into the schedule due to the cancelled games. You don't have B2B meetings in the playoffs and we don't start on the road. While the style of play may show some tendencies, you can't really say this is the game CGY plays to start the playoffs. Sutter is looking to work on small parts of the game that have gotten away from us; bottom 2 pairs of D not up to their usual standard, and Dube needing work on various parts of his game. His words not mine. I would also say that Backlund doesn't look sharp. Looks gassed. He may need a game off just to reset. Well, my question was what happens if the voiding of the contract is overturned. Is that even possible? If not, then yes it's just about a severence amount coming to him.

With Kane's arbitration hearing about his termination from SJ, what are the implications if they rule in his favor? Does it void his contract with the Oils? Just asking, since it's weird that it happens this long after he signed.
