I didn't see anything from the game day skate to suggest that. Steinberg usually on top of those things. Projected lines from him via daily faceoff have him playing.

It's GDB's. Time to claim the title. A win for us helps Vegas and VAN in their last ditch effort to get a WC spot, if they can't unseat LA. The seating is still up in the air. Likely though, we are facing NAS. Whatever. No 3v3 OT or shootouts. LA has an easy schedule. VAN faces tough teams. Vegas faces tough teams. I don't think it really matters who we play in round one. We are set up for a tough series. We have some depth at D and possibly some emergency callups for F. No worries about the goalies. Let EDM and LA or Vegas or VAN fight it out for the first round. Johnny and Tkachuk and Lindholm need not worry about reaching some milestone. It will come, but no point in overthinking it, just do the voodoo that you do, so well. Bury Dallas, bury VAN. Play Vladar against NAS next week and Minny or WPG (or both). Get the PP going again. Let Backlund be the defensive C he's supposed to be. Get Mange and Dube scoring greasy goals.

I think he changed his screen name just to be funny. I can understand why he got ticked off, but it doesn't or shouldn't change his opinions. We lost enough people due to the website change, so people leaving on their own is as bad.

Dallas is in real danger of missing the dance. They have the least RW of the teams battling for the final 2 WC spots. Potentially, you could see one or more Pacific teams in the WC spots, though I think NAS has the edge. But LA could be in over DAL if they drop out of 3rd. Or VAN could win just enough to have to face COL. Or VGK could. I'm hoping for VAN to get in over VGK. Depending on how DAL plays tonight, I'm not as sure about them. We get the top goalie, of course.

Don't worry too much about it. We are coming off the worst 3 months of hockey scheduling you could imagine. Not to say we are the only ones, but we were supposed to have 4 days off, but instead got a B2B shoved in the middle if the 2nd last week. The months of February and March were jam packed with B2B's and hockey with barely 2 days between. The playoffs will be a breath of fresh air. Play one, day off, play one, 2 days off.....The boys will be fresh. One team to worry about.
