always things to work on.. tis true.. vastly improved in many areas.. My wish/hope/ dream is to improve on face offs and giveaways

all good defensive points no doubt as all of your points to vastly improved defensive and overall team play.. but nary a whisper on the core issue of this team.. Scoring!!!! whatever system Kirk Muller is using for 5 on 5 playing and power play is not working

lines on a permanent basis just aren;t realistic on this team.. The makeup.. is severely.. slanted to the left side.. with Gaudreau, Thachuck and Mangiapane taking up the three spots on the top 3 lines.. We have Monahan and Backlund taking up the second and third center positions and no true top line center Then we have Lindholm.Coleman and Dube playing on rightwing or wherever they can fill in for a missing piece.. Lucic. Lewis and Richardson are playing fourth line minutes but are more valuable on the bench and dressing room..Pitlick and Ritchie have been all but invisible and Duerr and Ruzicka have been up for a cup of tea.

I.m really really disappointed so far with Pitlickk and I'm not yet convinced Dube is anything but a great figure skater and have always questioned Ruzicka's work habit on a consistent game to game basis.. so .. it'sstill early.. and Sutters bag of fairy dusk isn;t empty yet.. Go Flames

if tkahuck is named captain.. the entire team gets smeared with his reputation.. if not.. Ref skates over to captain and tells him to keep tkachuck in line.. I know which way i; d lean

Well If a player can be identified as too selfish for his own good.. Tonight was the night.. Johny Hockey's most personal important game in years.. and Tkachuk pulls up lame with zero shots on net and a rotten selfish attitude with taking horrible selfish penalties for no reason except somebody hurt his feelings. Lindholm however recognized the importance of todays game and put in a damn fine effort to showcase the talent that all were present to see in the little train that could..If this season goes south.. Id be willing to bet that tonight was a big reason why. with new bride in tow and several friends and family in attendance.. this is the game of the year for Johny Hochey... Johnny.. from Flames fans around the world.. Thank you.. nuff said... game on !!!!

what if the game started with the shootout?? starting 5 skaters from each team have one try.. if the shootout ends in a tie.. so be it.. If one team wins the shootout, they get the extra point if the game remains tied after regulation. would make for an exciting beginning to every game
