I've been a fan of Andersson ever since the Flames drafted him with the 2nd round pick they got for Baertschi. I was hoping for a solid 2nd pairing RD. Pretty pleased at how he has turned out.

I can't see him replacing Mangiapane's 35 - 40 goals, but don't see Dube doing it either. What do you do then, move Tkachuk back to 2nd line LW, assuming both Gaudreau and Tkachuk are both still with Calgary next season? That would make Toffoli and Coleman the Top 2 RWs. It might work.

I think that he'll look real good in Stockton next season. I see him as a future Mats Zucarello at centre instead of the wings. Or perhaps, the Flames move him to one of the wings, he appears to play all over the ice anyways. If he progresses anything like Pelletier, we may have a NHL calibre 3rd line centre by 2024-2025. I don't know that he has the size to be a "2nd line" shutdown centre like Backlund, but stranger things have happened. Or maybe, the 2nd line becomes another scoring line and our "shutdown line" is the 3rd. Haven't seen that in about 10 years with this team.

Do the Flames let Pelletier tear up the AHL next season and bring him up for the last year of his ELC in 2023/2024 OR Sell high on Mangiapane and replace him with Pelletier on the 2nd line with Backlund next season? I haven't seen enough of him to determine his defensive capabilities, but he certainly has the motor for it. Backlund had made several players look great in their first seasons, it might be worth the risk.

Vladar appears to be well worth the 2021 3rd round draft pick that the Flames sent to Boston. Calgary has paid far more for other/older goalies with worse stats. No idea at all what's going on with Parsons, but he never seemed to fully recover from his injuries. He looks worse now than he did in his final two seasons with the OHL London Knights. I know that level of competition may be a big part of it, but still..... I think that Werner and Chechelev are AHL/ECHL backups/place holders for Wolf and Sergeev who I feel will both become NHL goalies someday.

I think that we need a play making winger for the third line (preferably RW). Someone to feed Monahan.

I wish that Rasmus would shoot more often. Nothing wrong with his shot.

Dube waived out of the FO circle. Lucic wins the FO. Dube makes several hero efforts to keep the puck in and passes to Andersson. Next a pass to Hanifin who shoots. Lucic scores on the tip in. Bet you never thought that would be a Flames PP goal, lol.

I have always liked the Ruzicka pick. His skating has improved, inconsistency appears to be the only issue remaining.
