    If the Flames and Devils win today it puts NJ into a playoff spot. This could strengthen their resolve on "going for it" this year.

    Just saying in regards to NJD's you need to trade very good prospects (when you have an abundance) to get players that can push your team forward. Like the Hull trade we lost but Ramage was a beast his 2nd playoff year and was an important factor in the SC win.

    I'm hoping the Hannifin decision was completed this weekend. He stays or he accepts a trade. I'm hoping he waives for Detroit and they sit him out the Feb 17th game in Calgary. But then 8 years at 7.5 m wouldn't be the worst scenario unless he is given a NMC.

    I agree a gut feeling he resigns. I am good either way as if he resigns he has made that decision to make CGY his home. But if so please no NMC.

    Just spitballing now that Sergachev is out for TBL Hannifin 50% retained salary and a 2024 3rd to TBL Lilleberg and Hagel to Cgy

    exactly. Right now we don't know if Sharky can become a 1 C. But we need to explore that possibility. I feel Kadri is where he needs to be. 2nd line center with a line of young hard workers.

    Lindholm wasn't a 1 C when we traded for him but we made him one. Who's to say we don't already have a 1 C in our lineup just waiting to be elevated. Now is the time to explore options.

    Welcome !! Having watched quite a few Van games I have concluded that when Kuz is focussed and on his game he is a Force. Exactly what the Flames need. Hopefully he stays motivated and if so will quickly become a fan favorite.

    This is a line I would like to see Prospisil played so well with Kadri and Zary I would stick with that line . Maybe even consider Pelletier instead of Zary but again hate to break up what works.
