9-4-1 in the past month boys!!

Can do anything right, eh?

Can't win enough to make the playoffs, can't lose enough to get a decent pick.

During the season I don't care about picks.

I would prefer they go 9-4-1 every month, but whatever.

Gotta keep pace for that 16yh oa! lol

Wings win, Flames win, Leafs lose...pretty good night.

Leafs v Wings tomorrow. Could be Samsonov v Reimer, yikes.

It's odd the team hadn't gone to Backlund, Coleman and Mangiapane earlier in the year when they knew it was something that worked. On top of that, if trying to find a semblance of normality after the Sutter fiasco, why not go to that line earlier in the year when it was a line known for stability?

Huberdeau sucked for too long and they kept trying him everywhere.

Dube has played with Kadri; didn't work.

Mange with Kadri; un un.

Mange with Sharky was fine, but Huberdeau wasn't doing enough defensively.

He's too slow for the transition Backlund brings.

I think early on they had the Mange-Backs-Cole line but Mange and Backlund started slow.

The lines are playing better now, but the defensive systems are losing us games.

Tonight could have been a blowout.

I find Huska trusts the wrong players at key times.

The PP with Ras sucked for so long.

Dube getting too much rope and not doing anything.

He replaced Pospisil after his penalty.

He doesn't fit anywhere right now.

It's sad how far he has fallen.

If all he is doing is playing 4th line, might as well bring in Coronato to play that spot.

There's no finishers on the 4th line, where Rosie is the setup guy and Greer is the muscle.

I am quite surprised how tight the middle of the Pacific is.

LA just lost 8 in a row.

Oils with 10 wins are still just 2 points ahead of us and still one back of LA.

SEA with 9 in a row are still just 2 up on us.

With all that said, we are currently 11th last in the league.

Markstrom loses his catching glove during a goal mouth scramble with 12 seconds left in the game.

No problem, Tanev stops the puck just before it crosses the goal line and then blocks another shot while Markstrom is still lying on the ice.

So often, he has blocked shots or made stick checks at crucial moments in a game.

If he was a little younger and less injury prone, I wouldn't even consider trading him.

As it is, if Conroy can get a decent return for him at the TDL, I'll be fine with it.

Good first but not so good second or third.

You could predict the VGK coming so much dumb play in our end.

However a win in T_mobile is always cause for some celebration and naother 2 points.   Getting tight in the West.

Go Flames Go.

I'm with ya on the injury risk.  When he went down in the playoffs, Markstrom didn't fare well.

Not to say the two were linked, as Marky was bad in the 9-6 win.

CGY has no solution when Tanev is out.

Kuz was the closest to a shutdown tough guy.

But he's a couple of years from his own potential I think.

Anything that starts with a 1st coming back should be an easy decision for us.

The loss would be huge, but we have to find a younger version with the available cap.

The turnovers and weak clearing is partially on poor zone defense.

The other part is on ineffective D and a struggling F line.

The F was owned on the goal, but when the D can't hold off the offense not much they can do.

The F seemed badly outmatched and not even in the picture when the goal happened.

Was there no others in the zone?
