conundrumed
Was hearing that a few of the positives are the omicron strain. Ontario's hitting over 3,000 new cases/day. Can this end any time now? Was hoping the Silver Stick would be a go next month with the best AAA Midget teams, now it's CDN teams only.
travel_dude
The earliest we can get a game is now December 27th. Certainly not ideal. First game back against the Oilers. In our barn where we have struggled. No practice time available until maybe 1 days before the game. Haven't played in 2 weeks. I would suspect though that we are shut down for that game too. That leaves the 30th and 31st.

Which means some will get an entire week of maintanence, body building, healing bruises, training, and working on the little things that otherwise could only be done in the offseason. If done right, this break could be an advantage to us.

All Star break. The strength part and possibly endurance conditioning will help some. The lack of skating will hurt. The timing of some players gets rusty. And then into the playoffs. They have far exceeded my expectations in the first, less physical part to the season. Now we find out if there was a point to it.
