I knew you were kidding. I think the book on him is that when he's not scoring, he is doing nothing. Not sure that fits here. Monahan had two or three point blank shots, but he's not up to his normal accuracy yet. We need an early call to get a PP goal. The refs should manage this game the way they always do; favor the losing team.

I wouldn't say we got complacent, we just started making questionable decisions with the puck. It not a desperate situation, just not ideal. Need a bit more traffic in from of their goalie. We carried the play for a lot of this game and had lots of zone time.

I lnow the Sharks aren't a sucky team, but they were nothing until the shorthanded goal. Somehow we managed to turn a l2 goal ead into down a goal. In half a period. Sutter needs to settle them down.

We certainly take a lot of penalties, but do we really committ more fouls than the other team? Zaddy usually gets a call for being big and knocking down a player. I've seen a lot of hooks not called whick is what they normally call on us.

I'm not worried yet about next season signings. Hertyl is going to be more expensive than Mony. I like the player but we have to be certain we are re-signing him. Besides, this is the new Monahan. Bigger, stronger, faster.... LOL I think he gets him game back.

I know it's just a goal, but perhaps this will give Ruzi enough confidence to start doing things with the puck. He has speed and a good snipe. Like to see him use it. He's an odd player, but when he gets with a good coach, it really makes him better.

I think I am starting to like these lines. Richardson is still a bit of a stretch, but they seem balanced.
