He took a shot and stayed down for about a minute. The they showed him fighting off the "injury". Almost a given he will be out for a week at least. He does that all the time. Gets lit up (3 goals on 12 shots) and somehow gets an injury. I found the reffing a little bizarre there tonight. 2 goals called back on challenges. 1 goal allowed after Hyman ran the goalie. What is with officials these days. He skated through the crease and ran over the goalie. Goalie wasn't able to get back in position. Guess that is OK in EDM. Killing time until the Flames game watching a bit of MTL@EDM Hyman runs over the goalie and the trailer scores. Coach challenge and rules a good goal. Later MTL gets a PP and scores. EDM challenges for offside and wins challenge. PP gets reset to 40 seconds. Same player (Suzuki) shoot the exact same shot on Smith and scores again. 3 goals on 12 shots. Well 4 on 13, but only 3 counted. MTL comes into Calgary and leaves without Hammon and Evans. Emergency callup gets the start in EDM.

As does Mangipane. The difference is that Mange goes to the soft areas same shift. Knocked down that is. I am sick of him being sat. He was due a game or two, but this is dumb. Motivate with a game off, and not sit them for lesser players. This isn't the playoffs where you need a spark. They sat after a loss where the whole team was crap.
