Another wasted PP

Okay, so I am going a different direction. We are stuck with the players we have and the coach we have, for now. The only thing that might help this group is a huge trade. I'm focused on Meier. We have to deal Mangiapane as part of that, but that frees up the lineup a bit. Don't have to play Hiberdeau with Kadri and Pelletier. Don't need to use Toffoli with Lindholm. Huberdeau-Lindholm-Meier Dube-Kadri-Toffoli Pelletier-Backlund-Coleman Yeah, it's gonna cost more than Mangiapane. I would do a first + Mangiapane + Zary + roster player to be discussed. Maybe even Kylington, since he is doing nothing for us this season. I would give them Hanifin if Kylington was back playing. Re-signing him will be difficult.

Ersson is playing the way we wish we had in a starter or a goalie for that matter. We are coming up on 4 games that will make or break the season. B2B with ARI and Vegas, then COL and BOS. Not liking our chances against ARI.

I won't say I am surprised that they can't play the same two games in a row. There have been so few times that the same goalie plays well two in a row. We come out strong, don't score. You could almost guarantee that we would give up the first goal. We get down two, get one back and give up a really stupid goal.

Leadership on this team sucks. No captain, too many scattered voices. I laughed when someone mentioned that Markstrom should be the captain. Thought it was Hrudey on Saturday.

Well Kadri may be occasionally good on faceoffs, he is bad this year. 46% for the season so far.

I'm from Nova Scotia, but I live in Iggy Town, otherwise called EDM. I like Calgary, but not a place I want to move to. Hate traffic and too many hills and highways.

Put Lindholm there. Otherwise we are just playing the top line on the 2nd PP unit. I agree, Kadri is a mess with Hubey. So, my feeling is that you would swap Hubey with Toffoli on the main lines: Hubey-Lindholm-Dube Pelletier-Kadri-Toffoli Thoughts?

We got about 2cm last night. Done for this storm. You get the milder weather, we get less snow.

I watched the replay. Upper part, but two feet below and the back of the net.

Hardly roof daddy. In between his pad and his blocker. I'm not blaming the goalie, just saying we needed that save.

Ugg, if we could only get goaltending the way Philly had this period. In theory that's a goal scorer goal. But we had equal or better chances. Hanifin and Ras messed up that play, but a save would be nice.

Of those 25 games..... Markstrom started 16 of them with a 6-5-3 record. Vladar started 9 with a 6-2-2, one of the OTL was the cleanup in the CHI game. If we are going to use Markstrom the majority of starts, then he needs over a 500 record,
