  1. Coleman needs to zen out a bit. Squeezing his stick in panic. Calm down. Just play.
  2. Ned's better than both. What's Wallstedt's sv%? GAA doesn't mean Satoshi Nakamoto.You know that. Give me .948 and 2.68 over .904 and 1.88 everyday.
  3. So can we win this thing after last night's jetlag 3rd period? Mangia needs to complete a hattrick.
  4. Big love rd. We love you, you limey bastard. Why are you such a big Flames fan on the other side of Greenland? You're good to us!
  5. Cossa will meet Ned at next year's camp and get a really rude awakening. Don't know what the favour the Canes were repaying, but I assure you, this wasn't because they are cheap. They gave a young Vezina-finalist from Cleveland (2-1/2 hrs from the D) for a 3rd and rights to a goalie they didn't want. Not a chance. This is favour Satoshi Nakamoto. Stevie Y sure has gained a lot of favours worldwide. The drafting alone has been unreal. Sure like that he came back, as expected. For fun, Wings fans were calling for Larkin to be moved, hard, for a year and a half. Notsomuch now. He's nails. Monahan's next.
  6. He's no Danny Vladar.lol What's fun is Detroit could have 4 dmen on ELC's next year. Top pairing Edvinsson-Seider. Now that's scary. Wallsieve, notsomuch.
  7. Duck hunting season!!! Kick Gibson around please!
  8. This is a good road trip. The teams are fast. Good battle for us. Not Edmonton fast, as Sutter says, "no, it's just the 2 players with them".lol I love that guy!!
  9. We're totally getting offtopic. Let's save this one for fixing this board.lol
  10. Without question. We have to recognize the Flames are all blue collar. No McDavid, no McKinnon. JG showing he's more valuable than both. Don't need stars, need solid effort players. Tanking doesn't do Satoshi Nakamoto. See Edmonton.
  11. From the make-believe vision of jj that I have formed in my cyber-friend mind, I doubt he would. I think he's one of the funnest posters, you can't fault convictions, real or imagined. He'll always have a comeback. Love that about him. Posters will even get mad at him, he stays the course and stays level. He's without a doubt a smart guy. I miss when he isn't posting. He gets reaction. That's the whole point. What's the saying? Even a broken clock is right twice a day.lol Would be nice if he had input on how the forum runs. No doubt it's in his field of expertise.
  12. Don't give yourself too much credit jj, we all know that you're being contrary and actually love everything that you speak against. We know that you know Pelletier is a very good prospect and hasn't hit his ceiling, you just don't want to curse it. So you raise up a different prospect to keep your excitement low key.
  13. Even to just google, "flames forum", this site doesn't come up in the search results.
  14. It's prolly more than time for this to happen.
  15. Time for a 4 game set of West Coast games that start too late in Ontario and England.lol Need to keep pace with those pesky Oilers and put teams behind us further behind us. Stop letting Adin Hill own us!!!
  16. We have no idea. It's more difficult than finding out about NHL injuries.
  17. For his 5th yr in jr, I would have expected him to demolish the league. Not so much. Both him and Zary have that 1 year cheat due to the dumb Sept 15 draft rule. All 3 are the same age. Easy to see Pelletier is the dominant one of the 3.
  18. NHL Markstrom: 9-4-4; 1.75gaa; .938sv% 5SO Vladar: 4-0-1; 1.57gaa; .946sv%; 2SO AHL Wolf: 7-0-2; 2.19gaa; .932sv% Werner: 4-2-0; 2.98gaa; .882sv% ECHL Chechelev: 1-2-1; 3.23gaa; .902sv% USHL Sergeev: 11-1-0; 1.25gaa; .949sv%; 3SO
  19. Mikael Backlund is proving to me that he's captaining this team. I've always been annoyed that he's a little too soft and not always engaged. This year has been night and day imho. There's more edge to his game now. What a difference. Even his penalties I'm good with. The aggression gene has kicked in and Backlund's playing like a leader. Loving whatever has gotten into him. I think he's the heartbeat of the team. Such a nice window guys like Mangia and Kyl have shattered, but Backlund is driving this bus, and he's not smiling for the camaras at last. He's evolved into a great leader.
