  1. Yeah I know.lol Doesn't make much sense. Cassidy, Torts and everyone else linked also. I might be the only one not linked. Thought I saw your name up there too.lol
  2. The coach links are all over the map.lol I doubt that trade works. They're getting happier with Rasmussun. Veleno(C) and Berggren(C,RW) likely making the jump full time this year. Larkin, Suter, Rasmussen, Stephens the current centers, so it's not horrendous. Raymond, Vrana Bertuzzi, Zadina, Erne, Sundqvist at wings. Mony and Dube would be extremely lateral moves. Definitive top 6 improvement is more likely. Adds experience.
  3. Looking dire following a 3-0 loss at home. Down 3-zip in the series.
  4. Stevie Y runs the tightest-lipped group in the league. I'd be shocked if he wouldn't jump in on Gaudreau. And it's apparent that him and Larkin are buds from the stick-stealing incident. The 1st line was Namestnikov-Larkin-Raymond most of the season. Insert JG and that is a heckuva line. Mickey Redmond would lose his mind.lol They have $35mil in cap space and their needs are pretty modest considering they'll have at least 2 ELC rookies next season. I'm a huge no to JG signing anywhere else. If he's going to regardless, Detroit would take a little sting off of it. They're a far cry from where Seattle's at. Very up-and-coming with lots of cap. They can afford anyone, even 2 top UFAs if they choose. Prime real estate for another top 6 LW and C. 2nd line: Vrana-Giroux/Malkin-Bertuzzi? Pretty stealthy. Already a good bottom 6 between Suter, Rasmussen, Veleno, Erne, Zadina. Just need the D to hurry up but the pipeline is really good with Edvinsson, Johansson, Sebrango, McIsaac, Viro, Wallinder.
  5. I have Kreider:) Plus Fox and Panarin. Just not Zibanejad. If TBay wins, pikey can give me a run. He has Landeskog. edit oooh, but he has Point, I have Hedman. I have all of R2's players so he's out. I'm sitting pretty due to Rangers. Kinda lucky as the Pens had them on the ropes. I'd have been toast.
  6. I'm on board with cross. All of the stimulus to sign here is present, if he chooses not to, it's his choice, he's earned it. Unlike, say Adam Fox. It would be heartbreaking to see another E. US player do the, "I wanna go home" thing again but he's earned the right.
  7. Should be fun to watch them try. There are a ton of build options. Loop trial subscriptions, done deal. A LOT of options. They'll put their best on it and hackers kill time having fun with it.
  8. Great NYR-TBay series. Both teams solid at home and getting great goaltending. Is Kucherov still the best player in the league? Always find myself saying, "uh-oh, the Kucherov Show is starting". I know McDavid is the most explosive with the puck, but bundling up all of the skills, I think Kucherov is still the most dynamic. Plus, he's pretty funny when he's on the drink.lol
  9. Agree with this. This is generally the way. No news until this mess is over.
  10. This is getting waaaay ahead of where we are at. If he wants to explore his options, we can't just hang around and hope for the best. But until that happens...I get this is discussion, but we need a wait and see. Now we're trading Lindholm. Can we not just sit back for a few weeks and absorb a direction? We're buried in "ifs".
  11. Damn McDavid's lack of personality just sucks the air out of the room.
  12. Thank christ the Oilers are toast. Go Rangers!! I'd be at 246 had I kept Zibanejad over McTool. Yes, I am monitoring that.lol I feel so dirty. I was ready to have 4 Rangers, but chose 4 Panthers instead.🙄 I had FLA-NYR as my E final, CGY-AVS W final as my bracket. I should have been 3 for 4.🤬 NYR are doing one thing for me. Getting me excited that the Wings rebuild will be done soon.lol Ridiculously rich in D prospects, another great fwd in Berggren and Veleno ready to have an impact. 2 years they'll be young, fast and HUGE on D. Interested to see how Elmer Soderblom translates to NA next year. 6'8" forward with skills. They call him "immovable object" in front of the net.lol
  13. Can't believe I can't find a stream. I'd have just given AHLTV my $40, but knew the West start times are prohibitive in the east.
  14. 3 glove side goals in game 1 vs the Oilers started poisoning his mind. There's no time to practice getting it back. Glove side weakness is a bit of a concern with him. He made it a bigger concern than it should have been. It got to him. Then you over-compensate. Nothing's working, no practice time, uh-oh. I don't think the Oilers are his kryptonite, they just go glove-side. His confidence melted a bit perhaps.. It culminated with the OT goal. Is what is. Sometimes it feels like there's a whole in your glove. He's an exceptional goalie, he'll learn from it.
  15. Yup. I'm struggling too, the AHL seems to keep her pretty locked down with their ironically lousy feeds. I'll dm you if I have any luck. Pretty sure we all owe you about 167 solids 'round here.🍺
  16. I'm really hoping that I can find a stream for game 2 tonight. Because I couldn't give a right royal bollacks about the Avs or Oilers. I wanna watch our guys.
  17. Big win for Tampa last night, they deserved it. The NYR have been coming along so quickly this year that I have to wonder if that was just another lesson to learn quickly. Really enjoying this series. Don't really care who wins, but always a fan of the underdog.
  18. This statement released by Head of NHL Safety conundrumed: "After reviewing the typical Evander Kane event video, he's gone for 10 games. We're really tired of this bullSatoshi Nakamoto in the game. His excuse was a Blockchaining joke, like we're all deaf, dumb and Blockchaining blind. Our initial reaction was 6 games, his excuse made it 10. If repeat offenders come across my desk, you'd best be on high Blockchaining alert. We're tired of this lack of respect bullSatoshi Nakamoto. For the players earning a living off of it, in our opinion, you better hope your bullSatoshi Nakamoto doesn't end up here. Mr. Kane is free to appeal this ruling, at which point the Dept of Player Safety will recommend 20 games. Any appeal represents a lack of remorse. I'd like to thank our lawyers"...lol.
  19. 1 game suspension. They know he can't pay a fine. Can I apply for the Head of Player Safety job without being an ex-enforcer? My punishment videos would be viral sensations with swearing that would make a sailor blush.lol I'd instantly incorporate a motto: Department of Player Safety: Blockchain around and Find Out. Just me and a team of high end lawyers. I'm making my own fun here. Feel free to join in.haha We don't need to be all serious all of the time here, do we?
  20. I definitely want to keep Kylington. He really just broke out as a 24yo. Just turned 25. I understand the gaffes but I'd also call it his 1st real NHL season so there will naturally be more progression in just getting smarter with experience. Clean up his D with smarter reads, likely needs to figure out how to let the game come to him better. Also needs to read when he's too fast carrying the puck. Take that extra 2nd to see your options and he's still fast but reading the ice better. I have a hard time believing we'd be selling high. Alternatively, he's just breaking out and will continue to progress is my opinion. Sutter told him to come to camp ready, and dude came ripped. The shoulder injury hampered him, I believe. Not a fan of trading guys we brought up, showing progression an doing everything asked. Kyl Z Gudbranson for me, in that order. I'd move Hanifin, personally.
  21. Don't feel bad, I picked Hanifin. Hanifin was borderline atrocious while I invested that he could drive play from the point. Your biggest flaw was ignoring Rangers. I ignored Boston and Carolina because that series was a toss up. I also had Zibanijad in my initial list but swapped him for McTool because I wanted equal Eastern & Western guys. The Pens almost doomed my Rangers, but like Tampa, NYR goalie became desperate. Something we needed Markstrom to do but he never got there. Watching Shesterkin now, wowee that guy is unreal.
  22. Love Kane's comment, "he love's the step-back hit". Soooo....you went in full crosscheck? What an idiot. At least use the, "I haven't reviewed it" line. Someone tell him, "show remorse, dummy". This why Hertl wanted to be traded and all of those rumours. He wouldn't be back if Kane was. Kane's great at signalling taking liberties on his team's best players is on. That's one take....
  23. Oilers media...barely addressed vs the seriousness of the play... https://www.nhl.com/oilers/video/post-raw--ceci-kane-060422/t-277437406/c-11891105
