I'm beginning to understand why some Flames Fans will never get anywhere with their team building thinking.
When I said 40 goal scorers don't grow on trees. Lets look at our results:

So in 2021-22 season we were blessed with 3 40 goal scorers. We haven't had one since and you have to go back to Iggy's 2010-11 season to find the previous one.
Some of you still want to trade him if he shows he is capable of getting in that range again for the Flames......

How about he and Hubby click? Nobody has really made any noise with Hubby "yet"

Title of the above say 4 players. Everyone else is talking 5 players. Bettman talks about the NHL did an investigation a couple of years ago on their own. It seems they won't comment further take action until after everything has been dealt with by courts.

I'm pretty sure we can all look back on this game as the dividing line between us being a wildcard capable team or something less.
Counting the teams we are tied with, we now have 5 teams and maybe 6 that we need to jump past to get a final wild card spot. Also instead of 1 or 2 points back(had we won) we are a full 4 points back now and everyone except Nashville and Minny have games at hand on us.
Every time we play some nice games.. and even when some of our losses are good games we drop back to .500. .500 won't cut it this year. Need .600 or better to go to any show.
Still I am happy to see my Flames playing better than I saw at the start of this season. I have hope for next year and the near future after that.
From now until the trade deadline should be interesting. I think our GM is sitting on some decent trade offers but wanting to see what we have. I am thinking there have been some rookies playing to see what we have and there have been discussions about some of them that might be involved in a big trade.

Instead of taking the roster and making a list for everyone to grade each players performance lets simplify it a bit........
Please grade "1 being the worst" and "5 being the best".
New Managements Performance [This would be mostly the Coach and General Manager]
Overall teams Performance.
Offense Performance
Defense Performance
Goaltending Performance
After grading, make your comments and be a bit more specific. Where the area is needing improvement, or the area that was better than you thought it would be.
What you would change to attain the goal of making the playoffs.
Finally:
Are we better than last year? or
Are we worse off.
Are we pointed in the right direction or
Are we sliding off the map of relevance?
Lastly has your fandom for the Flames changed this year or from the start of the year?

What I don't understand is the Flames can bring it when down 1 or 2 goals going into the 3rd period but they stutter when trying to hold on to a lead going into the 3rd.

Try a total uninstall and reinstalling Gyazo. I have not run into the 10 pic limit yet but have had some problems with getting it to capture a screen section. I did pay for gyazo about 3 years ago but they seem to have lost that when transferring it to my new laptop.

Sometimes I can get the lineup from the site too, but sometimes only Flames.
Gyazo is your copy and paste friend......

Not doing a GDT because you don't think you have the talent is no excuse to not do one.
Every single one of our GDT creators started out with little talent experience and just doing their first one.

I have used it(the app) a few years now. I now find it easier to activate for the week through the app than the web.
