    Flames need to win this one tonight and increase the point spread on the Coilers...   Speaking of which, I hope that they get slaughtered on the scoreboard and into the boards by the Av's tonight...   They Oil need to be taken back down a couple of notches...

    Not the best effort from the Flames for playing a discipled game as there were a number of mistakes, but they still  won 9 - 5, on a back to back game...   They still did a lot of things right, more than enough to balance out the mistakes...

     

    The refs sucked, but it seems like all too often, that is to be expected...

     

    Last but not least...   The Oilers were on the receiving end of a beatdown from their top rival that had just played the night before...   The Oil gave it their best effort, and it wasn't even close to being enough...   That should let some air out of their tires, as the seeds of doubt were once again planted, watered and given plenty of sunshine...

    Important game tonight, and it's one that the Flames really need to win for a few reasons...   I expect that we will see a hard fought battle from both sides, the way a BOA is meant to be played, and I also expect the Flames to be another 2 points ahead in the Pacific when it's over...

    Thanks guys...   It's good to be back...   I will be pretty busy for a while yet getting ready to sell this house and buy a different one, but we are getting things checked off the to-do list, so hopefully it wont be too long now...

    Thanks for keeping the GDT's alive Roc Doc...   It's much appreciated, and + 1's...

     

    The Flames should win this one tonight, and I will be expecting a good effort from the team in order to make that happen...

     

    Yeah, I know it's been a while...   But I'm still kickin' around and cheering for my team as always...   It's a long story...

    The site had a virus...   Pretty sure that it was the Wuhan virus and the site had to be quarantined...   Good to see that it recovered, and lives to see another season...

Did not work for them in the playoffs so I really struggle why people seem to think it's a strategy worth building off of. 

     

    I said the article was interesting...   and the sarcasm was intended...   I didn't say I agreed with it...   Parts of it made good sense, but other parts were definitely cause for concern...

     

    re bolded:...   As I have mentioned before,,,   Sometimes Wardo fails to see problems that should be obvious...   and what is even worse, is even after  he thinks about it over a substantial period of time, he intentionally repeats the mistakes...

    Sometimes it seems that Wardo is a slow learner...   I hope I'm wrong and he starts to show he can start to learn from his mistakes more quickly than he has so far, but that said I also have my doubts that he will last until the end of his contract if he continues to make mistakes by making poor decisions on basic things that should have been covered in coaching 101 class...

    Not like he is a top player, but it's interesting that he did sign.

     

    I think the Oil have Puljujarvi talked into having another run to see if he can stick around this time...   They need a guy with a cheap cap hit, and probably sold him on getting put in a better position to succeed this time around...

     

    Maybe I'm wrong, but I think that he still has potential...   If we could have picked him up for cheap when everyone's feathers were still ruffled, I would not have minded if the Flames had have taken a gamble...

     

    As for Athanasiou, that will still be worth some laughs for a while...

    and ya gotta wonder about this guys immune system, he has been catching the flu, etc, fairly often over the last few years...   and this probably won't help with that kind of thing either...

     

    No doubt he is getting top notch medical help, and he will be back to annoy us before the beginning of the season...   I'm sure everyone here wishes him a speedy recovery...
