The reminds me of the win with Lucic on the 2nd line.

Must be genious.

Keep it for next 10 games.

Actually, the positive I saw was Huberdeau away from Kadri.

Maybe switch out Ritchie and Lucic and play Duehr and Pelletier?

I would still jst go with:

Huberdeau-Lindholm-Toffoli

Pelletier-Backlund-Coleman

Mangiapane-Kadri-Duehr

Dube-Ruzicka-Lewis

Too bad we finish the season against a bunch of weak teams.

Well, we do face Dallas, Vegas, LA (x2), WPG, NAS.

We play 7 against the weak (tougher) teams.

I'm guessing another 12 points the rest of the season.

88, just enough to be best of the worst, almost.

Not enough to get in.

I really think it's pointless to expect us to come close.

We have 2 home wins since January 26th.

8 of the final 13 games are at home.

Don’t you be using common sense and logic around this team, lol.

I know it’s a long shot, but I believe that if this team gets into the playoffs they could make some noise. We are a team that can ratchet up the physical when we can get away with a little more. We can stifle the best teams, and if our goaltending sees this uptick…..maybe just maybe

Markstrom is starting to play decent again.  Haven't seen a weak goal in at least 5 games.  If he gives us average goaltending the rest of the way then we might go on a run and make things interesting.

If you look at a point in time, yes.  Awesome streak.  But for the month of March....

Lose 2, win 2, lose 1, win 1, lose 1, win 1.

Markstrom is on a roll.  Like the pregnancy thing really messed him up.

Once his child was born, he has been really good.

Didn't Talbot have the same type of issues, but in reverse?

Game fell off after his kids were born?

Anyway, next up the team we have had no trouble with.

Except that we let in a lot of goals.

Wonder if Otter will be in good form or what we last sae from him.

All we needed this season was average goaltending from Markstrom.  Just .900 sv% and we would be 5 points better in the standings.  And hopefully (depending on how you want to look at it), it's not too late.  13 games left... we need to win 9 to get us to 95 points.  With some luck, both of WPG and NAS tank.

Well, NAS just passed us with 2 games in hand (tie breaker), and they lost a 3 point game to WPG.

Now down 5 from the last WC spot.  And WPG's schedule just gets a little easier.

The many little reasons why we are where we are.

Goaltending, lineups, lack of scoring, sitting on one goal leads.

When we play the way we do in the first period, we win a lot more games.

Even taking better goaltending out of it.

But the most we play is 2 periods like that.

Get a lead, go into a shell.

Down a goal, volume shooting instead of quality.
