pikey7883
Time to get downright dirty tonight as we roll into Mullet Arena. Which Mullet wins tonight? LW-C-RW, lol.
pikey7883
FLAMES (30-24-13) at COYOTES (24-32-11) The Calgary Flames face the Arizona Coyotes with both teams looking to improve on rough seasons. The Flames have a 30-24-13 record and with only four wins in their last 10 games have fallen out of the playoff picture in the Western Conference while the Coyotes have a 24-32-11 record and are near the bottom of the Western Conference. Both teams look to improve in the conference and the upcoming game looks to be a good one. Flames hope defense can improve The Flames are having a rocky season despite their offense stepping up and scoring 3.04 goals per game with five goals in their last game. Tyler Toffoli, Nazem Kadri, and Elias Lindholm have scored 66 goals and 94 assists to lead the top two lines but the rest of the offenses stepped up as well. Jonathan Huberdeau, Dillon Dube, and Mikael Backlund have combined for 45 goals and 81 assists while defenseman Rasmus Andersson has added nine goals and 32 assists from the point to open up the offense. The offense has been great but the defense has struggled, allowing 3.00 goals per game. Rasmus Andersson and Noah Hanifin have combined for 7.6 defensive point shares but the rest of the unit has struggled, allowing opponents to find open shots on the net at will. In addition, goaltender Jacob Markstrom has struggled with a .895 save percentage and a 2.83 goals-against average on 1201 shots with -12.1 goals saved above average. Coyotes defense has been awful this year The Coyotes are having a season to forget with their offense struggling and scoring only 2.76 goals per game despite the offense turning a corner recently and scoring 17 goals in the last four games. Clayton Keller, Nick Schmaltz, and Lawson Crouse have scored 71 goals and 80 assists but the rest of the offense has struggled. Only seven active skaters have 10 goals or more and opposing defenses can eliminate the hapless offense as a result. The offense has struggled but the defense has let the Coyotes down this season, allowing 3.49 goals per game with seven goals in the last two games. Patrik Nemeth and J.J. Moser have combined for 4.0 defensive point shares but the rest of the unit has struggled, allowing opponents to find open shots on the net at will. Additionally, goaltender Karel Vejmelka has struggled with a .903 save percentage and a 3.36 goals-against average on 1499 shots with -2.9 goals saved above average.

travel_dude
Can't see your video, Conundrumed. Anyway, there is some suggestion Ruzie is in for Lewis. Daily Faceoff suggest so.
travel_dude
Early observations: Top PP unit didn't look good. 2nd unit better. Lucic line out for the end of the PP. Stays out for next shift after whistle. Ugg

Lewis in my opinion is not the problem, he is holding his own considering he is Looch’s life line. A fourth line of Ruzie - Lewis - Duehr would be just fine

travel_dude
How is it we allowed two breakaways. Good thing it was Ritchie and a guy that hasn't scored this year.

travel_dude
This has to be some of the ugliest hockey I have watched in some time. Almost like Arizona id trying to just kill plays, not score. Maybe the ice is bad, since it looks like bad bounces or board defelction. DO we play down to the level of the team? travel_dude
Whenever I hear Troy Stetcher, I think of the Nucks terrible defense. He's actually not bad. Not better than say Valimaki.

travel_dude
Wake me up when the game is over. Too many Flames are slumping right now. Kadri, Toffoli, Pelletier, Dube, Mangiapane. Supposed to be the most important games of the year. Guess the Dube experiment didn't work and set him back. Pelletier is looking good, just not scoring.
