travel_dude
So focused on the Flames, but the Heat are doing special things this year. Round 1 - buy to the 2nd round for winning the Pacific Round 2 - beat the crap out of the Oilers farm team and win the series 3-0 Round 3 - facing the AVS farm team and we shut them out two games in a row for a 2-0 lead in a best of 5. This kind of mirrors the season the Flames had, especially the playoff matchups. Except, that we beat the baby Oilers and lead the AVS (that we likely won't face now). Go Heat Go. cross16
It was pretty wild to learn that although he had a great season Wolf had no shutouts during the course of the season. He instead waited for round 2 and then proceeds to run back to back shutouts in Games 1 and 2 to send them up 2-0 This guys story is just incredible. Whether he makes it or not I have no idea but I'm just here for the ride. The story is just incredible.
travel_dude
Glad Wolf is doing the things that he did all year, but finally getting the scores he deserves. Was robbed a couple of times, but darn close. Let's see him have bring the team on his back. They are pretty well constructed. Maybe we get a grad or two next season. Maybe. Could sure use another playmaker in the lineup.

travel_dude
West Final starts Friday against the Wolves. Wolf vs the Wolves. Heat furthest run for the Flames farm team. Best on Best.
Thebrewcrew
Tough series coming up for Stockton. Chicago is Carolina's farm team. Andrew Poturalski led them in scoring with 101pts. Stefan Noesen with 85pts and 48 goals and 100+pims Pretty experienced team at the top end of the roster. Josh Leivo is on their team, Richard Panik has also played playoff games for them. Alex Lyon has been the guy in net, but with the Canes out, I wonder if Kochetkov sees any action.
travel_dude
They haven't played CHI at all this season. I believe that Kirkland played against them previously on the Admirals. Big test

I'm struggling too, the AHL seems to keep her pretty locked down with their ironically lousy feeds. I'll dm you if I have any luck. Pretty sure we all owe you about 167 solids 'round here.🍺

Crazy that Leivo is playing in the AHL. It the one thing I hate about the AHL, that it's a dumping ground for NHL teams. CAR didn't need him this year, so he plays almost the entire season there. He's an NHL player on about 16 NHL teams. Stockton never faced them at all until the playoffs, so they couldn't get much of a read on them. The top line offense dried up against them. travel_dude
Heat have less than 2 minutes to tie it up. Down 1-0 in the 3rd. It was a great season and losing 1-0 is nothing to sneer at in an elimination game.
travel_dude
Okay, so 2-0. Not sure if it was EN, but it doesn;t lppk like it. 2 minutes left you are pinching no doubt.

Thanks for the great season, Stockton!! We have some dang good prospects there. Too bad we lost Rozie early on. Needed scoring this game. Most teams still in are rife with NHL players that had been waived to go to the AHL. We have a rookie goalie and a rookie winger that turned heads. Maybe they aren't ready for the Flames yet, but there are at least 4 players that should be fighting for jobs in camp.

I’m curious to see how Wolf stands up to the big boys in a faster game. Still not impressed with Valimaki. For all he was hyped up to be, I expected more.
