So, it may make sense to insert him due to the injury, but he has zero chemistry with Monahan. Waste of a top 6 C.

4th line is C, not moving Lucic to Dube line.

He didn't dress last night's game, so he was likely already here. EDIT - I may sound overly negative, but Richardson has done nothing since being acquired. Played a few pre-season game and hasn't had any game time since. AT least Duehr has games played. Did you see anything of Richardson that would lead you to believe he's worth playing?

Unfortunately, I get the sense that Duehr will get the inevitable healthy scratch treatment. Richardson will likely slot in with Monahan and Lewis. Lucis will get bumped up to Dube's line moving Mange to RW.

I suspect he might be a more offensive player than say Lewis. Will see what he looks like with Dube if that's the plan. Hope so. Either that or move Monahan up.

Walker should add some jam to the team. Not sure how they plan to use him. Would be an obvious fit with Mange and Dubbs, but what do I know. As far as NHL ready, he is one of the few in Stockton to actually show up in camp. By far Ruzicka is showing as being too good for the AHL. But, you know, can be frustrating for consistency. As far as fit, Ruzicka would need to play LW or C, so replacing Ritchie with Duehr makes sense.

It seemed like neither Tkachuk nor Backlund managed at all to get back in the play. I did have it backwards. Backlund fell/tripped and Tkachuk took a straight line to the play, but was skating like he was in mud. Picked by a Nashville player but too late to call. Backlund never got back in the play. But really, the Hanifin play never really covered anyone. Didn't prevent the pass or cover the guy wide open without the puck. Didn't take the shooter. I think Markstrom would have preferred facing the guy with the puck over the one-timer.

We could have had more but ran into a top goalie...again. Tkachuk was all over it, but his hands are like stone sometimes. JH missed a gaping cage because the rebound kinda rolled on him and he did a Bennett over the top of the open net. Tkachuk fell on a clear breakaway. The OT could have had 2 penalties called on the shift that lead to the GWG, but I think they figured Tkachuk just tripped over his skate laces again. I like Hanifin, but he is not a 3v3 guy to have out there. Good mobility, but offense is sketchy. Two OTL with him on the ice. So far.

Tato lighting it up against lesser teams. Let's see how he does against competitive ones. Nice that we actually have a guy that scores instead of one that just passes.
