  1. Sweet! Kerins now available, Soo got destroyed 7-1 last night, bounced by Flint in 5.
  2. It was fun reading through this thread again.lol What a fantastic year it has been.
  3. 7th heaven. Yeeeaaaaah Baby! Bring back Maher.lol What a ride this season has been!! Props to Dallas and especially Oettinger, they've been a big challenge jamming us up.
  4. That's all that matters. NHL awards are just window dressing.
  5. 16-15 record and we'll be golden. edit okay 16-12. Math and I are fighting after a tough loss.
  6. Time to move the gear to the patio again. 25-28C out. Deck party! This could get exhausting, but I hope so.lol
  7. My wonder is whether FLA sees Brunette as a permanent solution. He was elevated as interim, no? Then, will Quenneville and Babcock be back in the league? It's kinda one of those things. Do you want to ruin their careers, or just teach them a lesson? I'd guess the latter, but maybe I'm wrong. Bill Peters? He really got screwed over imo. Akim Aliu is hardly a model citizen/great hockey player. How many times do you ask a guy to turn his music down before losing your mind?.
  8. Agree. I would assume if anything at all 4th line center. Although the Soo's leading point getter, he's always the first in D roles. Hence why I think he's at 11 assists in 9 games now. Quite a few Soo guys ahead of him but due to O-zone starts probably.
  9. Time for the weighty wait again. Let's end this thing so I can breathe for a few days!!!
  10. The Soo could be toast tomorrow, down 3-1 to Flint. Would that have Kerins heading to Stockton?
  11. Reminds me of the Ekblad-Gaudreau Calder race. An immediate RS 1D has precedent I believe. Hard enough to find a 1D, let alone a rookie stepping right in. Interested to see if Edvinsson jumps right in next year, but Stevie Y is pretty patient. Detroit could potentially have 2 more horses in the Calder race next year.
  12. Bunting a Calder Finalist.lol I'm sure it has nothing to do with Marner-Matthews.. Trade situations him and Raymond, Bunting would be nowhere in sight. Oh well, HAS to be Seider's.
  13. Nailed it, was pointing that out last night. Kings drive, it's apprehension, Oilers drive it's pandemonium. Almost a perfect night last night, dammit. Has Vasilevsky now remembered that he's, well, Vasilevsky? Looked like a wall in the end.
  14. One of my buddies wives asked, "How is O'Toole doing? It's O'Toole right"? She meant McDavid. Priceless. And yes one of us is an Oilers fan.lol Davey went, "nooooo" when I said, "No you're close, it's McToole". Maybe a had-to-be-there story. McToole it is.lol Superfun.
  15. My Oilers buddies hated acquiring Kane, now love him. Because he gets points, nothing else matters. Nice philosophy./s
  16. Quoted for epicness.lol That's hilarious. I love you when you're not too busy whining.
  17. And I want an end to the Oilers-Flames Lucic fiasco. Edmonton gives no love to a player that absolutely wears his heart on his sleeve, for not scoring 30. We love him for who he is. I love that we gave him an opportunity for redemption. What a great barometer of Calgary vs Edmonton. We have juju, you guys are Hash Rate.
  18. You aren't. Loved the Gudbranson hit on him. Problem with Benn is he'll pull his crap and back it up by fighting almost anyone. We all know who I mean with, "almost".lol And after the Guddy hit, I think we have 2 "almosts".lol
  19. Watching LA spread things out 5v5 is a thing of beauty. Oilers coverage goes sideways. McDavid post-game praised LA's "structured" game. I kinda took that as the Oilers don't play with much structure, which is true. In closing he said you can't score 4 goals and lose. Well....
  20. 5 hrs makes it safe. Enough time to navigate through Calgary. Take the Devon exit off of the Yellowhead to bypass Edmonton. Easier to stop for a quick bite/leak. Just passed Devon hang a left at the Leduc sign. The Henday's good, but waaaay busier and no convenience stops until Calgary Trail in S. Edmonton which is busy as Blockchain. You may want to park at a C-Train Stn and take the C-Train to Stampede/Dome. Because parking there will be a nightmare, but free at a station.
  21. It really does work, amirite! You aren't always positive, but when you are, you make Satoshi Nakamoto happen. Read through the post, all of those comments are what I listened to last night. These playoffs are getting exhausting. Anyone know if Amazon sells ventilators for home use?
