    I mean the GDT's for the past 4 years I'd think the only bad players we had on the team based on your posts are Lucic and Giordano.  I see plenty of players make mistakes, I don't see the same vitriol towards them as I did Lucic.  Lucic didn't play PP and that was a weakness on the team, he didn't play OT and that was a weakness on the team, he didn't play goal and that was a weakness on the team, but god almighty without him we probably win the cup.

    BT has spent his whole tenure as Flames GM trying to acquire Kadri.  And there's one place Kadri would waive his NTC to go to.  Yes, Toronto.  Kadri never wanted to leave in the first place.  Can we see BT try one last time to acquire Kadri?  He has a Cup... whereas Nylander has zero, for example.

     

    Huberdeau + Weegar was the hill BT died on.  Turns out TOR needs a top line LW and a solid RHS RD.  What a coincidence.  Optically, if we traded Tkachuk for Marner, would that have been a huge win for us?  So what if we had a second chance at that?  Marner for Huberdeau + Weegar.  Just the fact Marner is UFA in two years gives us so much cap flexibility and free us from the cap prison that Huberdeau+ Weegar gives us.  I would add just to make this trade happen.  Forget asking for more from TOR.  We should be happy they don't ask us to eat cap.

     

    TOR will be over the cap but they have a whole summer to sort that out.  TOR wants changes to the "core 4" from what it seems.

    I think BT was pissed at our Franchize at the end and this is what he did to us Gave away JH pretty much put us in cap space hell with Hubs and weegar who in there right mind would take that mess and put themselves in cap space hell. Plus the way Hubs played last season I doubt anyone would touch that player.

    It's funny because we keep hearing on here about "the organisation said this" or "the organisation did this".

     

     

    So

     

    1.  they don't have a choice about rebuilding.  this is not really a decision they have anymore

     

    2.  they aren't going to announce it.  People be like waiting for the organisation to say "we're gonna try not to win".

           -yeah.  keep waiting on that because no organisation has said that Ever lol

    There are a limited number of outcomes here.

    I agree about the reason we failed last yr Markstrom but trading him now at his lowest is a mistake we need to try and get him back on track and then perhaps trade him when market is at its best for him and bring up Wolf have tree goalies to start see were Vladar ends up he wasn't that bad last yr for a backup we only have him for next yr so hopefully he plays great and we can get a few picks for him because even if he does well he will not resign here.

    I think this will go down as Cons fist big mistake Husk was already part of the coaching staff and this team failed measurably but Oh wait we did win the last game Why? Why couldn't we be a Oilers type team and since were not going to make the playoffs why not lose a bunch more this team needs some high picks and next yr we gave away our first or Florida's not sure how that went does mtl get the choice  or is it ours? I guess now we lose a few players I like including LOOOch and I know all of want to see him walk but I think he is still useful at a decent for 2 moire yrs.

    I was hoping we would move forward with a hole new coaching staff away from what was in the system which Cons thinks is a great thing me not so much ok I will stop rambling .

    I don't know why everyone thinks Iggy or tangs will be apart of the new system but if they were I wouldn't mind seeing what a yr could do for this team we have been in a merry go around for the last 7 yrs any way I would love to see what a new bunch of ex flames could do for this team. I don't see this team doing much any way we lost our 2 top forwards and a ton of points I don't see huber doing much better than last yr and kadri I feel will do same as last season we seem to love and buy the used up players and paying them a premium.

    I should also mention I hope we don't trade up last time we lost a very good D man although we seem to be ok on D so far unless we trade away Hanifin. I am also hoping Ruzicka will come into his own Backs didn't come out punching to begin with as well

    Sorry wasn't looking at position I was looking at type of player but I guess we really don't have a C to take the place of Backs  I assume Zarry or Ben Jones will not even make the bigs and if they do would probably be bottom 4 un less they really show up in the next season or 2.
