I think the refs and war room got it right. Mange forced the player into the blue paint. He didn't force the player into the goalie, until after the puck went in. travel_dude Posted February 16 Report Share Posted February 16 When I see games like this, I see a team needing players that can shoot. We have so few. I watch highlights of other teams and see snipers. I see one-timers. I see PP's that move the puck and shoot. We lack that. I should qualify that by saying few are capable of hitting the net every shot. Some have hard shots. Some are accurate. Maybe one or two are both. A re-tool is needed at the very least. For sure you don't want to sit a guy after you call him up. They are still using his starts as throw away games when Markstrom has too many in a row. Called up Dec. 5th, played last game 12th, sent down on the 17th. Called up Nov 9, played one game sent down Nov. 14 Up for a total of about 4 weeks, this is his 5th start. travel_dude Posted February 16 Report Share Posted February 16 This game should tell you everything you need to know about the team. We aren't going to sneak into the playoffs. For every win streak, we have a losing streak. We have a lot of cold players. Our top line and defensive line (Backlund) get scored on too often.
