Kulstad
Kind of surprised no one's posted this yet. Scary situation during the Devils/Flyers match up the last night: My first guess is dehydration/under-nourishment (didn't eat properly before the game). Admittedly, I have not looked up any follow-up news articles on this, but you never want to see something like this.
Cowtownguy
That is scary. It was a very long time ago, but I remember Calgary had a goalie in the 80s I believe who had issues with dehydration. I also recall someone from the Red Wings who dehydrated so badly during games, that he required an IV after every game. Let's hope it is something minor. robrob74
I guess you hope that it isn't the heart sometimes. The game moves so fast that your heart rate goes up and down often. Which is why there are those defibrillators in the arenas these days...
Flyerfan52
I heard he wasn't feeling well before the game but tried to play anyway as Mason was already out with the flu. Neuvirth has been released from hospital after diagnostics came back normal. Should be more details tomorrow. I posted about the odd situation this caused in the Flames are a playoff team thread.
